Bio Photo Hello fellow Find-a-grave participants!

If I have created a memorial for an ancestor of yours that is not related to me, I will be happy to transfer it over to you. If I have created a memorial for a family member of mine and you request it turned over to you, this probably won't happen. I am however, agreeable to you posting an additional photo of the member.

Whenever time permits, I am happy to do photo requests around my general area. I have also been known to go into cemeteries while on vacation, taking random photos, then checking to see if they are on F-A-G. If not, I create a memorial for them and add the photos. If I have a photo you would like to use, please ask first, and be prepared to give credit, where credit is due. It will be most appreciated.

I believe that FAG is a wonderful tool, and it is a HUGE benefit to all of us doing genealogy.
Sincerely, Alice W.

RE: Book and headstone
The book is called 'The Forgotten Man.' The headstone is for a William Powell. Good luck! My one hint is: it's helpful if you're a fan of old black & white movies.

RE: Hello Cousin!
Oh my goodness!!! I truly believe there really are others on the "other side" interested in our relationships here. It just seems too much of a coincidence that I was just talking to Linda Luther on WED then here you are emailing me the very next day. I told her I was going to email you because you sent me such a nice email in JAN after I told you of my mother's passing. To my knowledge, I haven't ever called her before but she sent a nice card to my mother on TUES, not knowing she'd passed, so I knew I had to let her know personally. Thanks for the email and I hope to email you a more personal email from my gmail account. I don't believe I have an email for you except the one you use for family history. I guess I will just hope you check it every now and then to see whether your long lost cousin has managed to contact you. :) I think it's funny your husband likes that pic so much because as soon as you described yourself in our first contact, that picture popped into my mind. Someday we'll have to actually talk and then visit again for the second time. We'll have to take an "after" picture. :) Thanks for getting in touch tonight. I hope you're having success with your searching. Just so you know, I can have a mild bit of rebel-ness in my as well but it's pretty tame compared to some. :) Marilee

Children of Thomas Murray and Sarah Fleeman
Alice, I show Sarah as being born about 1750 (an educated guess). From Thomas' will, he only listed the following children - John Murray, Thomas Murray Jr, William Murray, Lucy (wife of Hugh Freeman) and Sarah (wife of Isham Hendon). Sorry but I do not have any dates of birth or death for these children. Don

Saah Fleeman Murray Johnson
Sarah is believed to be buried at Clouds Creek but the field stones used for early graves have been eroded with time. Sarah was the daughter od Thomas Fleeman and Sarah Steele. She had first married Thomas Murray who died prior to Feb 1792 when he will was proven. Sarah then married my 3rd great grandfather, Rubin Johnston / Johnson (his third wife)on 23 Feb 1812. Rubin died in 1824 and was laid to rest in Clouds Creek Cemetery next to his 2nd wife, Lydia Harrison Johnson, who had died in 1811. Both Rubin's and Lydia's field stone markers have also eroded with time. Hope this helps. Don Johnson

Albert (Al) Deadwyler O
Alice. Thank you for your response. John Thomas Deadwyler was from Commerce, GA. He, and a Brother and two sisters left Ga and moved to the Atlanta/Pittsburg Texas area after a disagreement over how his Grand father's estate should have been settled. While there, Oscar Deadwyler even changed the spelling of his name to Dedwyler. never-the-less we are trying to close the loop on this one and show proof.

I find F-A-G difficult at times because there are not as many vol pics down herer as it seems to be there.

God Speed and Blessings to you and you family.
