If I have created a memorial for an ancestor of yours that is not related to me, I will be happy to transfer it over to you. If I have created a memorial for a family member of mine and you request it turned over to you, this probably won't happen. I am however, agreeable to you posting an additional photo of the member.
Whenever time permits, I am happy to do photo requests around my general area. I have also been known to go into cemeteries while on vacation, taking random photos, then checking to see if they are on F-A-G. If not, I create a memorial for them and add the photos. If I have a photo you would like to use, please ask first, and be prepared to give credit, where credit is due. It will be most appreciated.
I believe that FAG is a wonderful tool, and it is a HUGE benefit to all of us doing genealogy. Sincerely, Alice W.
Memorial# 108076879 Do you know whether this request was born & died over the last 60 years, or well over 100 years ago? A day will come when I'll return to the area where the listed cemetery is, but could use any clue when searching. (I found at least 2 on Ancestry both with the same full name and suffix "III" added, but they are at least 100 years apart. The more recent states he was in Gainsville, Florida, and the latter in another Georgia county). You may contact me at this site or at email@example.com.
Rohrbach Cemetery Hi Alice, I was checking out Rohrbach Cemetery and notice that you are managing several Memorials there ... mostly, or all, Kolbs. I have requested transfer of all Rohrbachs and Muttis in Rohrbach Cemetery managed by T.V.F.T.H. because I'm related to all in one way or the other.
There are nine Kolbs included in my Uncle Glen Mutti's Rohrbach family history. E.g., your Alma Margaret Kolb Rohrbach descended from her grandmother Elisebeth Rohrbach Kolb (Find A Grave Memorial# 46233008), whose father was Johannes "Old John" Rohrbach (Find A Grave Memorial# 46373066) and mother Anna Rohrbach (Find A Grave Memorial# 46370670). Near as I can tell, "Old John" is my great great grandfather.
Two things: 1) Are we related? 2) You have a photo request for Roxy Luther, Mount Washington Cemetery (Town of Urbana; Steuben County, NY). That cemetery is less than ten miles from our summer home. I'll try to get you a photo this summer if not done by the time I can get there.
RE: Harold Lafayette Markham Alice! I had chills reading your email!!! A huge Thank you to you for your help in getting the photo!!! Oh my gosh the stone is awesome! O I so appreciate the trouble you went through I can't wait to show my mother she will be thrilled!!!
