Hi, I'm Linda. I have been doing genealogy for many years. I am the mom of 6 girls and granma to 11- 6 girls and 5 boys, 3 great grandsons and 1 great granddaughter.

I enjoy going to cemeteries to take photos. I feel like I am able to repay some of the many RAOK that have been done for me in my quest for family info.

Besides doing genealogy my other hobbies are knitting and crochet, playing games on the computer but most of all I love spending time with my family.

I work as a teachers aide at the local high school. I love children and really enjoy being around them...some days more than others...(smile). I find it heartwarming and exciting when they learn a new concept and I feel
blessed to have witnessed the event.

Norman Woods
Norman Woods body was not taken from Perote Prison and reburied anywhere. His father's body along with others from the Salado Massacre were taken and reinterred on Monument Hill in Fayette County, Texas. There is only a memorial stone placed at the foot of Jane Boyd Wells Woods tombstone to commemorate Norman. I would appreciate it if you would please correct this error. Norman Woods and Jane Boyd Wells Woods were my gg grandparents through their daughter Sarah Boyd Woods Insall who married Robert Wholeship Insall. They were my great grandparents.

Thank you for transferring her memorial into my care. Am gathering data on her family for my best friend in high school. Our goal is to have their Clan linked on Find A Grave.
Your time and efforts are greatly appreciated.

James Madison Wood
I noticed you said James Madison Wood was your Great Grandfather? His 2nd wife, Annie Alou Cochran was my 2nd Great Grand Aunt. As far as I know they only had 1 child together that was either stillborn or died as an infant. Do you have any more information on that?
