I'm a retired railroad worker. I try to play as much golf as possible, and visit as many cemeteries as I can.|
I try to get all my information correct and not do any quessing as far as relationships are concerned. If I make a mistake please let me know by using the edit tab on the memorial, and I will gladly make the corrections or add any info that you may have.
If anyone wants me to transfer a memorial just give me the relationship to the person or persons.

I am trying to locate any relatives of race car driver, Johnny Aderholdt, who raced at Overnight Speedway and Speedway Park in Martinez, Ga., back in the 1950's. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Kenneth, Thank you for getting back to me. I had not read Alberts wife obit. I have his death record and it said Fairlawn Cemetery. Thank you for the correction. Lynda

I came across a funeral notice for an infant that I believe goes with this family. Maybe you can investigate the cemetery to check? Being the middle name was Frost - and Mrs McDaniel was a Frost...is seems very likely.
McDaniel - Edward Frost (infant son) of Mr and Mrs JE McDaniel. Interment at Elmwood Cemetery... 10-31-1902 - State newspaper - Columbia SC.
Thank you for the transfer, Ken, and your continued great work on Findagrave, too.

Mr.McCaw: Thank you so much for the management transfer of Lydia Bell Crenshaw (#95786480).
And I appreciate so much your addition of the Obit for her. It certainly helps tie the family together.
Again, thank you very much.

First, thanks for all you and all the Find A Grave volunteers do to make it easier for so many to find ancestors and kinfolk.
Secondly, I am confused. In the 1870 Richland County, SC, census, Ben Knight is listed with the family of Caleb Bouknight. It appears that Ben has married Caleb's daughter, Mary Elizabeth, with two of the their children listed. It is also stated that he is the father of Julia Knight in her Find A Grave listing at Elmwood Memorial gardens, Columbia, SC. Her two siblings list Robert Knight as their father in their Find A Grave listing. One sibling, Mrs. Anne Knight Selby also has her obituary listed which states that she is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Robert S. Knight. I have not been able to find where Benjamin or Robert S. Knight are buried.
If you can shed any light on this mystery I would be most grateful. Again, thanks for all you do to help people find where their ancestors and kin are buried.

Thank you so much for the transfers. I've added info. This is a fascinating family! The father graduated from West Point with Sherman, who later captured and released the son of his old classmate. That son quarreled badly with his sisters, went to SW Georgia and bought a traveling medicine show, adopted a new name, and never had anything to do with his sisters again.

It appears that the wife's stone is displayed on the husband's profile. Could you fix that please?
