Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Western NC. I got started documenting cemeteries when my family was working on our family tree. Since that time I have started recording cemeteries in my area in order for others to be able to connect with their past.

Thanks So Much, WOW
Thank you so much for the speedy transfer of Alfred Wehunt, and his family members at Epworth Methodist Church, Fannin County, Georgia. The other family members were a surprise! I certainly appreciate it.
Keep up the good work.

Alfred Wehunt, Memorial #30243432
Hi Chuck,
Could you possibly transfer Alfred Wehunt, memorial #30243432, at Epworth Methodist Church in Fannin County, Georgia to my care. I would like to connect him with his parents and grandparents and add place of birth and death information. I promise to take good care of him.
Thanks for all the work you have done and continue to do.

William Wayne Metcalf
Fred Metcalf Transfer
Thank you very much. I am working on connecting the Metcalfs. They come from three brothers who came to Western North Carolina in the 1790's. If you have any Metcalfs you are willing to transfer, I would gladly take them. I reseach the microfilm of newspapers for old obituaries and add them to memorials.

I almost forgot what we were doing! Hope William's memorial number is what you meant?
It's 16770837 If not, please refresh my memory!

Thank you for the transfer of William's memorial. I really didn't expect it - just wanted some corrections on the family links. There's no relative connection but do know many of his descendants who still live in our area.
Thanks again!

Cherokee ancestor
I read a public message to Duchess of Brookhaven (#48020275)asking about a Cherokee Indian ancestor and the person who posted this message made mention of you. The word has been handed down through several generations that my Sherrill third great grandmother's were of Cherokee blood. I have their pictures and if you could see them, you would be convinced that this is true. I had a DNA test to hopefully prove that I had a Cherokee ancestor, but it was so many generation ago the test could not prove or disapprove it. If you have any information on this subject, please send me a private email about it.

Issac Davis

I descend from Isaac and Polly (Davidson) Davis. I need a bit more info on Isaac and Polly to complete my application for DAR; land deeds in Buncombe County after Isaac died in 1819. I can't seem to find them on the Buncombe Co. site. I'm quite computer illiterate! I think Polly lived until at least 1827. Any other info that you have on them would be appreciated. I would like to talk with you.

Do you have a copy of the 1855 Henderson County document, John W. Davis et al V L. S. Gash?
