I am a retied law enforcement officer from England and have married my second wife who is from Colorado where we now have made our home.|
I am currently a volunteer for both FAG and the local Pueblo Library, The Pueblo Library has an extensive obituary index for local deaths from the Pueblo Chieftain which can be accessed via the library website Pueblolibrary.org once on the home page just select search and select Obituary index, the service is free via E mail or a small charge is made if you want a hard copy. We are also developing birth and marriage records which are not available online yet.
I am currently compiling a list of Vets from the Pueblo Area this will be available in the Special, Collections are at the library.

|K. Medved||Possible duplicate|
Hi Vaughan, I was going through the list of everyone buried in the Beulah cemetery and thought you might want to check this one to see if it might be a duplicate. #82208208 sorry I didn't write the name down. I found a bunch of duplicates and I guess its good to let people know if they have put on a duplicate, is that right?
We used to live in Beulah and so I was curious about some of the people there.
|Ross Erickson||Franklin Pierce Edwards|
Hi - I have an ancestor named Franklin Pierce Edwards who you have listed as buried in Pueblo, CO. Do you have a photo of the tombstone I could look at? This one is strange because it shows Frank being born and living his entire life in Iowa and then suddenly he's being buried in Pueblo.
Trying to make two cents out of this... Thanks.

Hi, I was doing some updating on the memorials from Mt View and noticed that there is a duplicate on two in the historic section and thought you might want to remove the one you did because there was another one that was older with more information. Anyway, the one you put on is # 64987230 and the other one is # 29151648. See if they are duplicates. Thanks, Kay

I see you added the beautiful picture of Margaret Pearl Smith Mastrini. Do you have any records of her brother James Melvin (Jim) Smith, Jr?

Thank you so much for all of your efforts. I think what you did is perfect. I too thought cross referencing them is a good idea. I will check the pueblo library and see what I come up with.
All the Ovechka's on findagrave are my family. We're in Colorado, Washington State, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Texas. If you have any of those memorial's, I would appreciate it if you would transfer them to me. That way as I find info I wouldn't have to bother you. Here's my #46968305
Again, thanks so much for all that you do. People like you is why this site is so efficient.
|Debbie Ovechka||Lamb / Ovechka|
There are 2 memorials that you created that I would like to have linked. Constantine Lamb #121260554 and Elizabeth Lamb #121974479. Also please, include the last name of Ovechka as well. Constantine's original last name is Ovechka. Sometime between 1930-1939 he changed it to Lamb. Ovechka means little lamb in Russian. I created 2 memorials for each of them under Ovechka, but I deleted mine since they were duplicates. If someone is searching and doesn't know his name is now Lamb, they wouldn't find him. May I also ask you where did you get Constantine's date of death? Roselawn doesn't have it documented. Thank you so much for all of your efforts. I appreciate all the hard work you do for findagrave. I too am a volunteer and I transcribe for genealogytrails.com. Debbie Ovechka firstname.lastname@example.org. Please respond to my personal email. Thanks again.
|Debbie Ovechka||The Ovechka's|
Hi Vaughan: I noticed that you have contributed to the Ovechka's memorials. I really appreciate that. I was wondering if you are related. A while back I found out that Peter Ovechka DOB 1868 lived in Sheppton, PA when he first arrived from Czech Republic. I believe he is my great grandfather's brother, but unfortunately have never found any proof. Just wondering if you knew anything and wouldn't mind sharing it with me.
Thanks so much for all your contributions. We do very important work here. We brings families together. There's not greater feeling. Thanks again and have a great day. email@example.com

Thank you so much! You are AWESOME. Thank you for everything you do!

My husband is Elizabeth's grandson. I am asking you to please remove the names of the LIVING descendants. One of them is odd about having that info released. I am surprised that she allowed it in the obit. I am just trying to keep her from seeing it and freaking out. Thank you so much for understanding! Oh, I also noticed that the pic isn't updated with the stone being etched with DOD. Do I need to put in a request for an updated photo from the general Find A Grave community or should I request it from the person that took the first one? Thanks!
