Suggestion to photographers: The best photos are taken when the sun is on the face of the headstone from above. If you catch an old "unreadable" headstone in the middle of the day with the sun shining down on it's face at the right angle, you can read every word and number. Try it!
I will honor family transfers and welcome suggestions and corrections to any of my work. I enjoy researching the history of the people I add. I would like to add parents and spouses to each one. Do not take my work as gospel. Study it out for yourself. If you believe I have made an error or if you have additional information, let me know.

|Joy Steele||Getting in Touch|
You are welcome to contact me through my email.
|Joy Steele||RE: Steele/Whitley Photos|
My husband may be/probably is related. I'm working on the Steele genealogy which is showing relationship to seemingly every family in the area! He does show close kinship to many of the Steeles and Luckeys, among others, at South River UMC, Rowan County. For example, Rebecca Camaline Luckey and her parents, etc., buried at South River UMC was a step-great grandmother, first wife of John Wilson Steele who is buried at Third Creek Presbyterian which makes the children of Rebecca and the 2nd wife Margaret Irvin kin through the father. Other Steeles, Cowans, and Luckeys married.
But I think some of your requests are closer, known cousins. Please feel free to ask for transfers from me through the Edit tab for each memorial I may have created if you'd like to manage these cousins, etc., that are closer to you.
Keep in touch.

You are welcome. When I visit a cemetery for a requested photo, I usually take photos of any surrounding family grave sites. So I was happy to see your requests at Jericho Church of Christ, Davie Co. We live very close to Unity which is a quick trip and request turnaround.
|Joy Steele||RE: Marshall Martin Bowles|
You are welcome. Yes, of course, I will be happy to add the photos for his wife.
|Joy Steele||RE: Davis Family|
You are welcome.

|Maria Harrington-Terry||Lillie Tyrrell|
I just noticed that the only Dutcher grave that's marked is that of their daughter Lillie Tyrrell who died in 1917. Are you interested in that one too?
|Maria Harrington-Terry||Margaret Dutcher|
Margaret Dutcher is interred next to her husband Ebenezer. Both graves are unmarked. Will a photo of the lawn area be acceptable to you or would you like me to upload a scan of the block map where they are interred? Either option is easy for me because I work at the Madronia Cemetery.

I also photographed Roy and Granville's graves. They are all together in a large block. If the person who claimed them doesn't follow through, then I will get those two posted also.
|Christina Ray||Christopher Columbus Ward and Lillie Pettit Memorials|
I have been trying to figure out what I did, and I sent in a correction request to the person that manages their memorials, even thou I created the one for Lillie. I hope this solves the confusion and thank you for pointing it out.
