RE: Sarah A Harrison Rice #30932498 The best I can seem to come up with is that she died around 1880 and is probably buried in the Upshaw Cemetery. She had several children. I gladly send what I have if you want. What's your email address?
RE: David M Harrison # 88415653 Thank you for the kind comment. I am not related to the Harrison's; our family lived not far from the cemeteries where the Harrison's are buried. I will try and find out if any direct kin to this family is known. We combed the area along the Gasconade River at Jerome where the old home place was located, attempting to find the cemetery and being so close to the river, many floods has washed away most of the old land marks. We did find where the small cemetery was located where David and his wife is buried, but only one stone was found, that of David's daughter, Sophronia. The area was very overgrown, so if there were any other markers, they were not found. The campground where the Historical Arlington Store and other buildings are located is now closed to the public. With the constant flooding of the Gasconade River, I have a fear that the area will never be open to the public again. If you have any additional info to add or links, I'm sure desendants of this family would appreciate it. Wanda
Joseph Dowling Thank you for the information on Joseph Dowling. I'd like to transfer his memorial to you so that you could make the changes. This is one of the memorials that my, now deceased, sister had made. Cannon Cemetery is near where we grew up. I mowed this cemetery for several summers, beginning as a pre-teen. I've been wanting to get back down there and take photos to add to the memorials. It would be great with me, if you'd like transfer. "Each Day Counts", Loretta
