Bio

I have never entered a bio, but feel I need to do so at this time.
I started with find-a-grave in the early years of it and spend a lot of time walking cemeteries and hours on end posting names to the site. It was my desire to not only post my family, but to post other names in an effort to help others find their family ties.
All my memorials have been done with love and respect and to honor my family and others who have passed away.
If you need to email me regarding a correction or transfer, please give me the name of the person, the cemetery where they are buried and your full name and ID number. I like to know who is emailing me with information. I give my full name and like working with you on the same basis.
And tell me your relationship to the person that you want transferred. I try to follow the guidelines set worth by find-a-grave on transfers. I will not transfer my family members to you for those of you who have asked.
But I work better knowing the name of the cemetery and it speeds things up for me.
I appreciate all the nice and kind words that most people have given me. But for people who send rude emails, that has no place on a site to honor people who have passed on. I will not engage with you nasty remarks as that is not what I joined find-a-grave for.
Please remember it takes time for me to change memorials or tranfer. I get a lot of emails and my time is like anyone else's. I have a job, a family, life problems and my health is not what it used to be after a fall last year.
As far as links go, I have not been able to update all the links that are needed. I did not put 17,000 people on find-a-grave overnight and can not update everything needed that fast either.
I have been working on geneology since 1968 so things do not always go fast in finding your family tree. I hope I have helped someone on find-a-grave find someone they were looking for.
