Random Item #5: Grave Markers|
The thought of a grave marker for a departed relative getting vandalized or stolen is enough to make someone shudder, but there can be some relief in knowing such situations are covered by home insurance.
"You hear those stories every so often of cemeteries being vandalized," Hackett says. "Insurance would cover losses for personal property items from theft, vandalism, or malicious mischief that might happen to a grave marker."
Insured homeowners should know that mausoleums also fall into this category.
"I think it's good that it's available and people should know," Hackett says.
What the HO 3 Policy says: The insurance company will pay up to $5,000 for grave markers, including mausoleums, on or away from the "residence premises" for loss caused by occurrences covered in the policy. Because they are considered personal property, grave markers are covered by home insurance "anywhere in the world."
Thank you very much for all your time and efforts and photos. Great job!!
Have a great day

RE: Wm Zimmerman
I was shocked to find him. I knew that there wasn't an obituary printed here, so I just winged it and lucked out. Thanks for adding it!
Thank you again for all the hard work you have put into documenting so many graves.

Did you get my e-mail with headstone pictures from Woodlawn regarding memorial number 56817534?

I enjoy visiting your dad; I added his memorial page to one of my virtual cemeteries (angels I visit often). I can tell he was an outstanding man, one to look up to... And, I know you miss him, it's hard not having our dads around, I know....
It ALWAYS makes me smile and chuckle a bit when I look at the photo booth picture of you and your dad, that is a classic, AWESOME photo! :)

Thank you for making the edits I requested. Don's place of death of Florida will be okay as is. I understand the problem. You did good with his memorial. His sister especially appreciates the work you have done for him. She will also get me a photo of him which I will add later. Thank you for all the work you have done.
