I am a native of Fayetteville NC with many ancestors who were born and raised in this region after their own ancestors immigrated to the United States from various countries in Europe, primarily from Scotland, Ireland, England, and France. Many of my ancestors fought in both the American Revolutionary War and in the American Civil War. I am proud to have had relatives who served in both World War I and World War II as well as in other military operations throughout our nation's history. I hope to one day be able to document more of my family's own history, and to include pictures of as many of them and their final resting places as possible.
