This research is a long on-going process. I enjoy researching my family and learning about others that I never got to know. I am only here to find my family, but spend countless hours helping others -IT IS WHAT I ENJOY DOING. If you've not stepped foot in Christian County or Trigg County, then don't assume that you know more about a cemetery. _______________________________________________
Family names: Stewart, Turner, Goodwin, Haydon, Larkins, Atwood, Wells, Boren from the Christian County/Trigg County, KY Area. From Smith County, TN the Murray/Gibbs Family. The Murray line has led me to the Gross, Madden, Hewitt, Ferguson, Blossom, Roe and so many more names.
I am from Christian County, Kentucky. I lived in Cerulean, Gracey, and Hopkinsville my entire life until 16 years ago when I moved to Tennessee. So everyone understands my memorials I enter...I am not a NUMBERS kind of member. I am a GENEALOGY kind of member. I don't like people who are rude and numbers people. It's about OUR family history being done correct. I maintain the majority of the memorials in Robertson-Hite Cemetery in Trigg County, Ky. Kathleen Boyd transferred them all to me after I requested the Larkins to be transferred. She maintains a lot of memorials as she has taken on her husband's since he went home to be with the Lord. I will honor and maintain each memorial with the highest respect. _______________________________________________
When I go to a cemetery that has my family members in it, I enjoy taking pictures of the entire cemetery (time permitting). I do not have any issues with anyone taking and using my pictures of the headstones that are in your family tree. However, if I have added pics of a person, please ask before you use them. If anyone has information on any memorial that I have added, please send me a note thru the edit link on the memorial. I will be happy to update/link family members. It's about our history.....keeping everyone together for our future generations to have. _________________________________________________Happy Graving! I never thought I would enjoy something so much! Be blessed folks!

John Goode
OOPS! also an Immigration Lists Index with John Goode's arrival in Barbados as 1650. John Goode's Parents were Richard Downe Goode m to Frances Whiley (in England). Richard's parents were Richard Penkrville Goode m Joan Phillips Downe. BTW Mary Mariah 'Polly' Glidewell's (m to William MacKerness Goode) father was Nash Glidewell m to Martha Bannister. Nash Glidewell was a PVT in the 10th & 14th Regiment of the Continental Line (Am Rev Patriot). as are so Many of the GOODE Men! Ernest Wilber Goode (my cousin), goes back to John Goode & Martha Frances MacKerness's son Samuel Edward Goode. On my Goode Tree on ancestry (my user name is stewjem) I have at the end of each person's FULL NAME an Astrick * to show my linage & for Ernest Wilbur Goode at the end of Each person's full Name I have a plus sign + to show his linage. Also these NAMES are in all CAPs. Wilbur was a Gunner in WWII and flew over 30 missions in France & Germany. Some of his Bomber missions were with Jimmy Stewart (the Pilot). Wilbur was 91 yrs old when he passed away 14 Jan 2014.

I do not know where my GGgrandmother is buried. But we were in Ceruleans Springs about 5 years ago and found a grave yard hidden in the bushes and we had to climb over a fence to get in there. I know we can find that one again .It had Samuel Goodwin's headstone and a slaves little headstone beside it as our family history states, that is where he wanted to be buried .I Hope GGGrandma is close by.Please keep in contact ,we really want to get a tour and histories!
Thanks again, A cousin,Judy Torrie

Brandy, you have no idea what a terrific gift you have just handed me. I've just found several relat-ives I've been looking for a very long time so I want to thank you enormously for your work on the McQuary (aka Olvey) Cemetery in Hopkinsville. I can't believe it's been here since 2013 and I've just discovered it. I'll be in touch as soon as I can collect myself and sort through/match up all the info.

Thanks again.
