Bio and Links
Bio Photo Going to try this again and hope the person who feels the need to berate me has forgotten by now:

Thank you for visiting my page and for all you do here at Find A Grave. I enjoy this website and have met new friends and distant cousins as a result. Thank you to everyone who has provided photos, links, and other information.

The vast majority of my memorials are relatives. Some close, some distant, others in between.

Please be sure to use the Edit tab, then the Suggest a Correction . . . link when requesting updates, transfers, links to family members, etc. This feature is designed to eliminate frustration on all parts due to misspellings, having to search through multiple memorials, etc. Unlike some, I will not ignore/delete your public message regarding the above without first contacting you, but do require you use the proper avenue.

Find a Grave guidelines stating: "Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren." are, in my view, just that. If you're more closely related than I and have information to add to a memorial, I'll more than likely transfer to you. Be sure to state your exact relation when requesting a transfer (if I request a transfer and forget to state my relation, please kindly nudge me rather than treating me as one would a child.)

It would be most appreciated if you would not post obituaries or death certificates as photos on any of my memorials. Also, please note that Find A Grave guidelines state you should not post biographical information via a Virtual Flower. I think it may partly be because the creator/manager of the memorial is not notified when a Virtual Flower is left, and may not run across this vital information for days, months, or even years.

"The bitterest tears shed over graves are for words left unsaid and deeds left undone." Harriet Beecher Stowe

Webber Gee
Hello, Anna!
I have a Lucetta who married into the Stover family. On her daughter's death certificate, it lists her mother's maiden name as "Gee." So, I have a Lucetta Gee Stover, who moved to Crystal Michigan with her husband, Titus Stover.

I believe that her parents might be Webber and Louisa, only based on the 1851 Canadian Census, which has Titus and Lucetta living next door to Webber and Louisa Gee (with children Ellen 20 and Henry 14.) That and the fact that they all ended up in Crystal at about the same time.

Have you heard of Lucetta, by chance?

Thank you, in advance!

Melissa

RE: Sterling Mayes
Anna I am so sorry. I was going through vacation pictures from last summer and was trying to fill in any photos I may have happened to take. I'm in Michigan so you may want to put your request back in for Sterling.

Hi Anna.

I have two sources that say she was born in Lunenburgh New Hampshire, not VT.

But when I look for Lunenburgh in NH, I'm not finding it at all!

So, perhaps Lunenburgh in NH was renamed to something new.

Anyway, sources:

Horace Gillette Cleveland, A Genealogy of Benjamin Cleveland, a Great-Grandson of Moses Cleveland of Woburn, Mass, and a native of Canterbury, Windham County, Conn., Chicago, 1879, pages 107

Calvin Mays
Albert was married to Minnie and Calvin appears in the 1920 census below. She died in 1935 and he later married Bessie Williams who lost her husband, Samuel, in 1937. These census records can be seen in FamilySearch.org when you search the records. It took me a while to figure this out but it is correct.

1920 Census: Hignite, Bell, Kentucky

Albert Mays Head M 22 Kentucky
Minnie Mays Wife F 25 Virginia
Calvin Mays Son M 3 Kentucky
Josio Gibson Sister-in-law F 24 Virginia
Audie Gibson Niece F 6 Kentucky
Sadie Gibson Niece F 3 Kentucky

Annaa,

I'm probably a farther removed cousin than you are.
I'm going thru the TN & MO Greenlee's trying to do linking. My line came out of VA to NC to TN to MO.

Happy hunting,

Pat Greenlee

kidwells ridge baptist church
i am looking at records of Kidwells Ridge Baptist Church, Hamblen Co., TN. I see several people listed who do not have stones. Do you know exactly where any of these people are buried?

Thinking last name is Thomson instead of Thomason.
Thanks for all of your work. Without dates, hard to tell if same person. just going through cemetery records and trying to match up find a grave names with the master list for Spur cemetery which is an ongoing process -always find more information on find a grave which is wonderful.
Thanks again for checking.
