Bio and Links
Born: 1953

Husband: William Oscar Taylor Jr.

My husband and I were raised in Sylvania, Screven County, Georgia. We moved to Savannah, Georgia in 1972 due to my husband's job. We raised three children in Chatham County, Georgia and have six grand children.

I am researching all branches of my family tree and my husband's tree. There is quite a lot of branches to research primarily in Georgia. Some of the branches include:

Beard, Bazemore, Lariscy, Fries, Bragg, Counts, Edenfield, Taylor, Jenkins, Cuthbert

We often visit many of cemeteries in Screven County and surrounding counties. They are always a quite and peaceful places to visit.

When entering a memorial in Findagrave I try to include any information I can find. For some I have a picture of the headstone, a picture of the person, an obituary, information from birth and/or death certificates, etc.

Hey Jessie -
I just added BJ's husband and both parents to Find a Grave. I wanted to mention that BJ's father is not the Horace Arthur Boykin you have linked - that is her G-father. Her father is #148972703 Her mother is #148972542 if you want to link them.
Thanks :) Jane

Virginia Laurie Scott Bazemore
Hi, are you a descendent of Virginia Laurie Scott?

I work at the Burke County Archives, and we have recently been working on some marriage license receipt books. Between the pages of one book, we found a letter, from Virginia's father (William J. Scott) to the Ordinary of Burke County. If you are a descendent, it is something you probably would like to see.

Contact me through find-a-grave.

Jessie - I am researching my family and thought I'd reach out to see if you found any information about Bessie's family. I am stuck. She was married to my Great Great Grandfather Richard Charles Morris, but I can't locate her father, mother or siblings. Any help would be appreciated.

thank you

I appreciate the obit and as always, let me know if I can help you.

We were there this morning, around lunch, my husband was cleaning several lots and we saw where Mr. Taylor's resting place.
