Alfred Maurer
I sent the message below to the other contributor. Alfred has a duplicate memorial. One he is buried in Forest Home (Richfield, WI) and one in St Jacobi Cemetery (Richfield, WI). I know his obit states St Jacobi, but perhaps these two cemeteries combined??

"It appears that Forest Home and St Jacobi cemeteries combined at some point.

There are two memorials for for Forest Home and one for St Jacobi.

The other memorial is 91890031 which was done earlier then yours. Is it possible for you to delete yours or combine it with 110971519?"

Thanks so much.

Thank you so much for the photo of my Aunt Ella!

Saw your message before I saw the added photo! Wow, wasn't sure how she had her name on the marker. It's great to see! Thanks again! Kat

RE: Ella Kulik's spouse
Hi Gayle!

Ella Engler is my Great Aunt. She was married several times. John was her last. He was married before and I believe they had children. The address on his WWII draft card was the home I believe John and Ella lived in. I have a call into my mother to double check the address and to find out if she remembers John's first wife's name. If my memory serves my right, I thought John was buried in the same cemetery as Ella. Again, I will double check my information.

It was my understanding that John wanted to be buried with his first wife because of the children. Aunt Ella had previously purchased a plot near her parents as she didn't think she would ever fall in love again. John and Ella were a quite a cute couple.

How do you know John?
Love to learn more!

Thanks for your message. The most important thing to me is to get our history correct~
