RE: Clark Anderson
All I know is what is in that death record. Clark Anderson who lived at 109-9th Ave East in Ashland died in Ashland on Oct 12, 1905. It says he was buried at Mt Hope.

A check on Find A Grave shows 3 Mount Hope Cemeteries in Ashland County - so I suppose it's possible he's at one of the other two. But if this is the Clark Anderson that I think it is, it seems unlikely as he died in Ashland and his famiy is at the Mount Hope in Ashland.

Could the cemetery record be incomplete?

Clark Anderson
Hi! Thanks for your message. I got my information from the Wisconsin, Death Records, 1867-1907 Index at FamilySearch which says a Clark Anderson was buried at Mount Hope.

I've been looking for a Hiram Clark Anderson (b 1855 in Canada) from my tree and when I found this record, I thought it might be who I was looking for because Hiram Clark had a brother named Samuel who moved to Ashland, Wisconsin. Samuel and many of his family members are buried at Mount Hope.

Find A Grave Memorial# 136337725

So it makes sense that the death record is for my Hiram Clark Anderson. All the details match - place of birth (Canada), parents names. But there is no year of birth. I was hoping to find that in the cemetery records or on a headstone - if it said 1855, it would clinch that he is in fact who I am looking for.

Mount Hope Cemetery, Ashland
Hello! I was wondering if you would allow me to attach (with appropriate credit given) your photos of headstones taken at Mount Hope Cemetery to my tree on Ancestry?

Thanks for considering my request. :)
