|K Berry & JGBC||Hazel Scott|
Good Morning. My son and I photograph out at Pacific Crest for Find A Grave regularly. We noticed that Hazel had obviously, very recently passed away. We photograph Hazel and her husbands marker so we could add it to Find A Grave. I found two memorials for Hazel. Although yours includes a much more information, it is a duplicate to one that had previously been created, information below:
Created by: D K Railsback B
Record added: Jan 16, 2011
Find A Grave Memorial# 64259903
Rightfully, if you are a family member, you should request that DK Railsback transfers the memorial she created to you. You then add important info and link to that memorial and delete the duplicate...the one you created. Of course it would be easier if DK's could be deleted but that is not my call. I will tell you that DK Railsback is always willing to transfer to family. We've seen this before and if you explain your relation and ask nicely, she'll transfer you your family members memorial, which could include Hazels husbands memorial.
Until that all happens I want every grave to be photographed. I'm uploading images we took yesterday. We don't want to hog image slots so once you get the memorial and you may want to add your own images, just let me know. I'll happily headstone images if you want to place your own.

The particular day I made that entry, I had been to both Alice and San Diego Cemeteries and I think my notes got a bit scrambled! Thanks so much for setting the record straight. I also appreciate the excellent grave marker photo.

This may be Levi A. Austin's & Mary Ann Parkhurst's son. I located an 1850 census but I can not find anything about him or his family after 1850. The James Austin I located was 38 years old in 1850 (born 1812 vs 1821 on the memorial) Please see information below: Date of census 13 Sep 1850 • Living at: North of Cumberland and East of Caney Fork Rivers, Smith, Tennessee, USA.
James Austin 38; wife-Rebecca Austin 38; their children Wm Austin 15; James Austin 12; Enoch Austin 10; Reuben Austin 7; Amon Austin 3. Thanks, Sheilah

It has been corrected. Many thanks for the additional information!

I see that you uploaded a photo of Bob Mclure. By chance are you a relative? I am a friend from Lake Havasu City, AZ.

I can view the Certificate of Death which indicates she is buried in a Brush Creek cemetery. Can you add that photo document to her record? There is no 'poor' section of the Brush Creek cemetery.
To me it is much more logical that she is buried where her husband and her parents are all buried. She died before her husband and he is buried with his 'in-laws'. It would seem strange that she be buried in the 'town' of Brush Creek, and a few years later her husband is buried on her parent's family farm located in Brush Creek.

I was looking to see what listings needed picture of marker and came across Jesse Richard Brown which you added Jan 2016. There is a listing already for J.R. Brown with same dates along with picture of marker. Thought I would let you know so that you could combine.

Thanks for creating Mom's memorial on F-A-G. I would like to take over management if you don't mind transferring it over to me.
Talk soon, Cousin.
