Bio and Links
Bio Photo Find A Grave is an amazing site and research tool. Our contributions are small, but we hope they will help you in your family research.

We are happy to transfer any memorials for those not related to us. However, we will continue to maintain memorials for those we are related to. Send SAC (Suggest a Correction) requests using the Edit tab. Always include your Member#.

We have assumed stewardship of many memorials in Greenlawn Cemetery, Seneca County, Ohio and would like to transfer to family to maintain (those not related to us). Please send an edit or request for transfer if you can assist in updating any burials at Greenlawn Cemetery in Seneca County, Ohio.

We request the following for our memorials:

Do Not post death certificates to our memorials. The tombstone is of primary importance and should be the featured photo. If it's for your family, and not ours, ask for a transfer then post away.

Please: Do Not post any crests or coat of arms to our memorials. Even if it's a legitimate coat, just because there is a coat of arms for a name that coat does not belong to everyone of that surname.

Thought for the day: Please and Thank-You go a long way.
You are welcome to use any photos we have added for your personal family history. Please acknowledge credit to the volunteer who took the photos when permission has been given to use them, whether ours or another volunteers' - It is the right thing to do!

We try to search well to avoid duplicating any memorials. If you find an error or duplicate, please send a correction, and know that it was unintentional.

Thank you to all the many wonderful volunteers who have entered memorials, taken photos, or searched a cemetery to answer a photo request. You are truly what makes this website so incredible.

RE: Joseph Vance
Will do, Joseph. It didn't occur to me to do it the way you suggest. Thanks.

Ron Vance showed me Capt. Joseph's headstone. Ron has been a big help directing me to cemeteries along Rogers Gap Road.

Do you live in Scott County?

Check out our FB page--Scott County Cemetery Project.

Please Delete Joseph L. Vance
Please consider deleting your entry for Joseph L. Vance. He is better known as Capt. Joseph Vance. I have posted to FG a headstone photo for Capt. Joseph. Thanks.

RE: Bowman at Terrace Heights
You are welcome. Any time I can help just let me know. Did you know there is another Ruth Bowman at Terrace Heights? (Warren T Bowman, Feb 7, 1885 - Feb 11, 1978 & Ruth C Bowman, Sept 18, 1888 - Feb 2, 1971).

Hurlbut or Hurlbutt Family
I am looking for the parents of my ancestor, Morenda Hurlbut Nesmith, #59623931, and see that there are quite a few Hurlbut memorials at the Norton Center Cemetery, Summit County, Ohio.

I also noted in the same cemetery that there are quite a few unknown memorials (because the headstones are too weather-worn to read.) Another ancestor, Arthur Nesmith #7647871 is buried there. I would like to know if there is any evidence that his wife, Mary "Polly" Duncan is buried in the cemetery. If this is known, I'd like to create or update, one of the unknown memorials.

Thank you for any help. And thank you for your dedication to the memorials you've created and maintained. Your service is valued.

You folks seem to have done an incredible job at Magnolia as I see the name often. Thought a heads up would be nice, the wife and I took 3400 photos, alpha by name and put on DVD. Gave a copy to Blount Genealogy(Ken Cornett) and I am SLOWLY working my way through the names. You will see more from me in the near future so PLEASE let me know if you see any screw-ups.
Blessings, Joe Nash Maryville, TN.

James Bryant

I am Sandra Key Wysong. I am doing some research. I see that James was the brother of John Bryant (Father of Drama Bryant Key)

Drama is my grandmother

I have several questions if you can answer.
Do you have access to any pictures of the Bryant Children. Primarily of John, as he passed when Drama was just 2.

Do you know where John and Grace married?

Do you know the story behind the words written on John's marker? It is heartbreaking and we can assume he deeply loved his babies.

Thank you for your time,
