I use to use chalk on old stones, and was unaware of any damage it may do. I no longer use chalk on stones. If anyone has a listing I placed a stone photo on in which I used chalk, and they want that photo removed, just let me know and I will remove it. As agreed by find a grave, the chalked photo's will be removed as new, readable photo's are placed on the listing.|
Again, I no longer use chalk
If I use the EDITS tab for additional information, I do not have a record of where the information came from. I will no longer accept this form of updating a listing. Anyone wishing me to put information on a listing should send me a "find a grave" e-mail requesting the information be added.

Thank you for taking a photo of my great grandmother's grave. I've been searching for information about her for years. A member of Facebook Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness found her grave plot. Now things are becoming complete.
Thanks for taking these photos. Much appreciated.

Tom - great photography! You captured those photos just in time. It looks like something is trying to swallow up that headstone! What IS that?! Do you think they were originally upright? Thanks so much...again :)
