Simply enjoy genealogy and preserving history.|
I make mistakes if you tell me, I will fix them.
If they are family, I will gladly transfer.
My aim is to honor the past. Items added to biographies are typically information I receive via email from unknown contributors and post to memorial. I do NOT fact check so take it for what it's worth...further research.
THE STORY TELLERS by unknown
We are the chosen. My feelings are, in each family, there is one who seems
called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live
again, to tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and
approve. To me, doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts but,
instead, breathing life into all those who have gone before. We are the
storytellers of the tribe. All tribes have one.
We have been called, as it were, by our genes. Those who have gone before
cry out to us: Tell our story.

Thanks for the transfer. In 1983 I was just beginning to do genealogy and visited the almost abandoned Maloney Cemetery for the first time and had my mother along. The purpose was to visit the graves of my gg-grandparents William Riley and Sarah Jane Seaboalt. We found many other Seaboalt and Seabolt markers including the lone marker of Earl. I asked my mom who that was and she began the long ans sordied story about who Earl was and how he was killed. Some day I hope to visit the courthouse in Kaufman County and learn more about his killing. So far, nothing has turned up in on-line searches of Newspaper accounts of his killing.
Thank you for your prompt response to transfer Mattie Carroll to me!

I have much LIGHTER photos easier to read for the above but cannot load them because there is a limit to photos on a memorial not sponsored. If you can remove your grave photos I can place these on, if you like.
Let me know. Thanks

They are family members of my husband. May I use their gravestone photos in my Family Tree? I will gladly give you credit! Blessings, Terry
