Hackett family

I saw that you have added several photos and seem to have a strong connection to the Hackett family. If so, I am hoping you might be able to help with some research I am doing on a historic house. Harley Benjamin Hackett and Alice Hackett lived at a house in Charleston, SC located at 35 Parkwood Ave. The family owned the house from 1947 to 1969. I'm trying to track down any photos of the house (or the neighborhood), but I haven't had any luck. If you or anyone else in your family might have a picture showing the house (or any others in the neighborhood), I would dearly love to have a scan. I'm at

Hi Eddie!
I found Hughie for you. I posted a photo of his Vietnam memorial, but he is also on his families' marker. Not sure if you wanted that posted as well. Wishing you a speedy recovery from your fall and surgery. Take care and God bless...

Ronald Allgood
Hello Eddie,

I hope you remember me. I went looking for Ronald Allgood at the Atascadero Cemetery. He wasn't there so I went to the county library and got his obituary. Well, a unique situation has presented itself in regards to Ronald Allgood. His son, Guy Allgood, wrote me a few days ago. He gave me some information about his dad. I don't want to leave a public message but I want to forward that e-mail to you. Could you please contact me at It's important.

Feel Better
I missed something (nothing new about that). Sounds like you had surgery? Hoping you feel better soon! Hugs, Rosie

SSgt Ronald Lamar Allgood

He was the man responsible for my existence. I will confirm that I scattered his ashes on the Lee Ranch in Rinconada about 8 miles outside of Atascadero. The ranch is well hidden and requires access permission from the ranchers closer to the highway.
