Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in the UK. I wouldn't mind being a photo volunteer, as long as the request is within driving distance of Manchester/Liverpool, in northwest England. ;-)

NOTE: To those who 'suggest' corrections, connections, edits, etc. - if you have no way to be contacted, then I will (probably) ignore your suggestion. I don't think it prudent to arbitrarily link people, add information, etc., without an opportunity to discuss - and VERIFY - same. If you feel you have a sound addition to a memorial I manage, you must be sure I have a way of getting back to you, either via FaG or via email. [Note appended 10 Jan 2014.]

NOTE #2: Unless they are at least 50 years old I generally don't add obituaries to FaG Memorials. Call it a personal quirk - I don't especially like it - but there are a few other reasons, including things like copyright, privacy, the feelings of immediate family members, etc. If you want me to add an obituary to a memorial I manage, please ask. Don't be offended if I choose not to post it. I'm not convinced they belong on FaG at all, except for famous people; I'm surely not convinced they belong on FaG unless the principals (and their close family members) are long gone. [Note appended 24 May 2015.]

RE: Stevenson Cobb
Hi! Very pleased to see your message, I have been revisiting he Cobb family this week. Many years ago I spent a Sunday with Walt and Esther Cobb, son of John and recall that we had a conversation about the subject. He is Walter Steverson Cobb, named after his great grandfather. I guess through the years it has changed.
And P.S. to you, the lovely lady in my profile picture is Mary Tillapaugh's sister, my great grandmother Betsey.

Peerless Councils and Magic Circles

I fear we may fill this public space with a conversation. I would like to reply about Thackray. I invite you to contact me at my posted email, if you please to. I hope so.

RE: Rebecca and Peerless Council No. 9

Wonderful. A satisfied cat is the best sort. It pleases me. I have no doubt the ladies were full of good intent, and that there might have been as much gossip as refreshments. Peerless, I'm sure. I think your title is a good name for a band.

Hello Kasey Coff,

Thank you for your kind inquiry. What you suggest indeed would be curious. I believe you may be on the wrong path. My guess is the word is council, not pencil. Knowing nothing of a Peerless Council in Richmond, I took a quick look that provided only what seems to be announcements of meetings of some sort in the Richmond newspaper of the early 20th century. I found no history of such a group, but it seems to me to be the correct word. Peerless Council Number Nine. I don't think there is a number nine pencil.

Hi. I added the bio after Ann Cady graciously transferred the memorial to me.

I visited Pekin for the first time last year. I didn't have any trouble driving right up to it on a dirt road. It must be that road is fairly recent.

Half Shire Historical Society has a good list of Pekin burials which was very helpful during my visit.

Cheers! Sharon

RE: F.A. Miller Sr AND Jr
Thank you for letting me know about that, I have already deleted that memorial for Jr., of course I could put it back or maybe let you do it. Since I did not have a photo attached to it I think I had not seen one. I am not sure if there is one. I only live about two miles from that cemetery. I drive past it often but stopping to take photo's does not happen much. Maybe it would be best if you put the memorial on there, making sure of course that it is not already there. I must have used that BYU Idaho Special Collections of Eastern Idaho Death Records to add it. Those are mainly from obituary's in local newspapers. look at memorial # 22054843
