I caught the genealogy bug in the 1980s and it has proven to be incurable! I published my mother's family tree in 1983 and have spent the last 15 years gathering information on my father's side in hopes of someday publishing that side of my family history.

I love walking through cemeteries and reading the tombstones.

I don't know exactly how I found Find-A-Grave but I am hooked on it, too. I pray that I will present a memorial that will help families and friends have a place to go to celebrate the life that was taken away, always too soon.

Nancy Nevada Whitledge Watts
Hello,

I was just checking this memorial and the death date for Nancy Nevada Whitledge Watts is incorrect. Per her death certificate which is listed as Nancy L Watts she died at Farmington, MO. At the state hospital, on 4 January 1920. She is buried in the Pirtle Cemetery at Crossroads.

Could you correct this?

Thank you for all you have done and continue to do.

Sincerely,

Michael

Just to let you know that she was NOT Lavinia, her name was Vina, in the census records and on her tombstone it has always been Vina, nowhere in my family records and the years of research has she been referred to by the family as anything else as Vina.

Thanks,

Michael
