Bio and Links
My research is focused on the Ashbrook, Copeland, Gray, Wood, and related lines from northwest Missouri, especially Nodaway County. As I find information about their friends and neighbors, I have been adding it here so it can be found and used by their descendants, too.

I have compiled an index of the Skidmore Standard newspaper (Skidmore, Missouri) which currently covers the available issues from 1898-1903. Please send me a message if you are interested in items from that newspaper.

If I've created a memorial for one of your ancestors, please let me know. I'll be happy to add or update information or transfer the memorial to you within Find A Grave guidelines if the person is not in my family tree and if you send a request letting me know how you are related to the person. Please feel free to use the headstone photos I've taken and posted to Find A Grave in your family tree or anywhere else you like.

If you are requesting a transfer of a memorial, I will need to know your Find A Grave member ID and the names (and preferably memorial numbers) of the memorials in order to transfer the right memorial to the right person. It's easiest (for you and for me) to suggest corrections and changes from the Edit tab on the profile itself.

Skidmore News
Robin-I have spoken to your before. I am interested in The Skidmore News, as I was born and raised there. I was wondering if there are any articles or obits on the Jones', my family? I also want to let you know that my Aunt recently passed and I found the funeral flyer from Katherine Copeland. (they must have went to her funeral) Now if I can find it in all the boxes of genealogy and clippings she kept. When I find it, I will scan it for you, if you want it!
