I became interested in Find A Grave searching for ancestors. It has been a rewarding experience and I am so grateful to all the contributors for the pictures and information. I have even found distant relatives through this site. I would be more than happy to return the favor to others with any help that I may be able to provide.
Any pictures of gravestones I have taken may be used for Ancestry or whatever you may need them for. I will also transfer any memorials I have added to family members or add any information you may want to include, including corrections.
My family includes: Irick, Goff, Burr, Long, Reynolds, Parks, Jones, Robinette, Diggs, Naumans, Snyders, Lawson, Boggs, just to name a few, would like to communicate with anyone with those surnames to see if we can connect. Families are predominately from Virginia & Indiana

Maple Grove Cemetery
Just wanted to give you a huge THANK YOU for taking the photos and updating the graves at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Holt County this August!! I have a HUGE genealogy project that involves hundreds of Schneiders, Schindlers, Sommers, Stubers and you have helped to fill in a lot of empty branches! I get so excited like finding treasure and I know months ago this data wasn't there so I appreciate that you took time this summer to add this information!

RE: union cemetery transfers

That would be completely awesome. Eventually, my goal is to create a pseudo account that will be just for the management of the graves in Union Cemetery. I applaud the hard work that you have contributed thus far to Find A Grave and the cemeteries of Holt County. I am currently out of town, but if it is alright with you, I would like to send your way the rough draft of "my pet project" and garner your opinion on it, as you have been a huge help in filling in some of the blanks.

Thanks again,

William Reynolds
Sorry about that. Hope you can delete the messages sent accidentally. I wanted to tell you that William and Mary Reynolds are my 4x g.grandparents. Their daughter Harriet Reynolds Lepird is my 3x g.grandmother. My maiden name was Lepird. There are lots of Lepird descendants still very interested in the family genealogy. Maybe we can talk sometime. Thanks, Kelly

RE: Cunninghams
Hi Cynthia, yes I would love to have the notes on Cunninghams - thanks so much for the offer. As I would prefer not to have my address on the public message board is it okay if I send it to your personal email?

RE: Ida Smock
Funny great grandfather's second wife was the first tombstone in that cemetery in Dec 1894
Her name was Mary Belle Lindsay...and their son died at the same time. I use to have a picture of him standing next to the obelisk and there was only a house pictured on the distant rise. I never found a death record for them. I believe they were visiting relatives ( SMOCK ) and she lost the baby and she followed. They lived in Anderson, IN.

Thank you for your reply. I thought maybe it was just wearing away. So sad isn't it?
