Bio and Links
My research is focused on the Ashbrook, Copeland, Gray, Wood, and related lines from northwest Missouri, especially Nodaway County. As I find information about their friends and neighbors, I have been adding it here so it can be found and used by their descendants, too.

I have compiled an index of the Skidmore Standard newspaper (Skidmore, Missouri) which currently covers the available issues from 1898-1904. An index to the Skidmore New Era (1905) is in progress. I am in the process of posting index entries for the Skidmore Standard at

If I've created a memorial for one of your ancestors, please let me know. I'll be happy to add or update information or transfer the memorial to you within Find A Grave guidelines if the person is not in my family tree and if you send a request letting me know how you are related to the person. Please feel free to use the headstone photos I've taken and posted to Find A Grave in your family tree or anywhere else you like.

If you are requesting a transfer of a memorial, I will need to know your Find A Grave member ID and the names (and preferably memorial numbers) of the memorials in order to transfer the right memorial to the right person. It's easiest (for you and for me) to suggest corrections and changes from the Edit tab on the profile itself.
