Don - thanks for letting me know I connected Stanley's (Ralph), memorial to the wrong cemetery. It has been corrected.

Dear Remember Me,
Thank you so very very much for the wonderful photograph! That was so speedy. I didn't expect a photo so soon, if at all. I truly appreciate your efforts. The photo is wonderful. What a bonus that the grave marker told the parents of Elizabeth.
Thank you so much.
Sincerely,
Louise in San Francisco

James A. Tart
I am trying to find more info on James Alexander Tarte. He was born 1888. He is my great grandfather. I see a lot of listings for Tartes, don't know how to connect him to them, if there is a connections. I know he was born in Marlboro, SC, lived in Aynor and worked in Horry in 1917. He was married to Mollie Edwards. I understand that he died in Charlotte, NC. But that is all we know.
Can you help me on where or who to go to next?

RE: Thompson Family
I was in SC, including Olanta, a few years ago and got tombstone photos. My wife and I were recently passing thru and I wish I would have known where his house stands. Do you have a photo?

Robert is a fascinating story. I'm in touch with descendants of his son Alex C. Thompson.

I'm related to Robert's brother Hilliard Judge Thompson, so I've researched all of the children of Hilliard J. Thompson, Sr. and Margaret Louise Hudson Thompson.

To avoid public messages that might bore others, ping me at my address:

Thompson Family
Don,

Are you researching the descendants of James Thompson (d. 1827)of Marion and Florence Counties?

I'm also researching descendants of Robert Charles Hudson (d. 1861)

and a branch of the Wilder family of Sumter....
