We have been doing family research for our family and that is our primary interest in having a Find-A-Grave account.
Donna is a GA native and Phillip is a SC native.
We are researching three main family names on one side: JEFFCOAT, INABINET, & CARTIN...also SENN & STABLER and on the other side the two main family names are: RUSSELL & JOINER...also WHITE, RICKETSON, HENDERSON and there are many more names but those are top priority.
We enjoy genealogy because not only is it a link to a person's past ancestors, it is history. It is very fascinating to learn so many things about descendents, a particular area and about distant relatives. We enjoy "graveyard-hopping" as we call it and look forward to contributing to my own family on this website as well as for others!
As we create memorials if you are a family member please let us know and we will be glad to transfer the memorial to you as we would expect others to transfer our family members to us.
We think if a family member asks you to transfer a memorial you should not have a problem doing so because of many reasons but the main reason is the family member can contribute more accurate added information. In some cases, a stranger has created the memorial before a family member had the chance to so therefore; don't take offense if a family member wants it transferred...
We have had several memorials transferred to us and we are so grateful to be able to manage our family's memorials!!!

Hi! My name is Anita and I am a FindaGrave contributor. I saw where you were looking for a Bedenbaugh that died Dec. 15,1956. According to the survey done by Ms. Brummett in Feb. 2009 there is no marker for this grave. I am sorry! I hate when that happens! I am including the link to the site I was viewing. Hi Phillip and Donna,
I'm wondering if this is the George Jeffcoat that married Evelyn Sears? I'm trying to trace Evelyn Sears and she married a Jeffcoat and apparently lived in South Carolina. It seems she moved backed to GA sometime later. Also Evelyn's brother, Oran C Sears died in a north carolina prison but was buried in Lexington, South Carolina in 1959. A woman named Gloria Finklen signed the death certificate and I have no idea who that is. Maybe its a stretch but George had a sister named Gloria. Do you know any of these people? Thanks for your help.
