I became interested in family history when I attempted to document my grandmother's travel to this country from Germany. I was never able to find that information but have found a lot of my family's history in the process. If any information I have entered is incorrect, please contact me and I will correct it.

I am currently working on family histories for the Redus, Radicke, and Blackerby families.

RE: Redus in Black Creek Cemetery in Frio instead of Medina
Hi James, I find it funny, you had left a message for the person that entered your ancestors in Frio Co. instead Medina. I had left a message for Sara, who had left flowers for one of the Redus. I found it wierd that a person goes to take photos at a cemetery and entered in the wrong county. I happen to find the error when I was going to take as most photos I could to post on Findagrave. I am only tackling the small old cemeteries. I have added other cemeteries and since they are small I am also mapping and entering plot numbers. I do not know if anyone in the county has that information or not. Maybe funeral homes do that, I do not know. I figure it will not hurt any.
You have a nice week and good luck in your searching.

Hi James,
I was curious if you had any information on Claude Leroy Fielders's family. Father, Mother, etc.
Thanks,
Michele

Redus family in Mobile, AL
You are quite welcome for the Gardner transfers. If you know where any other Redus graves are located in Magnolia cemetery or any other Mobile county cemeteries let me know. I'll be happy to look for them and get pictures.

Treybigs in Gillett
Hi, James, thanks for contacting me. Yes, those Treybigs would be part of my family. As far as has been determined, all Treybigs (and variant spellings) in America are descended from the same family which came from Germany to Texas in 1846. A pretty thorough documentation of them and their descendants has been done over the years. I'm trying to enter the data electronically and make it available on the Internet. It's a long, slow process! Thanks again--I'll check out the Gillett brance.

RE: Redus Rhew
I am not aware of any cemetery on the King Ranch, but I'm sure that there would have been cemeteries there. The King family is buried in Chamberlain Cemetery. The Ranch is still private and not easily accessible. Your friend might call the King Ranch and make inquiries.

Rhew
Chamberlain Cemetery, there was another Rhew there, a Tacy Rhew. I made a memorial and posted the picture, would you like me to transfer it to you now? Would be happy to.
