|A relative invited me to look at his Find-A-Grave submissions and got me hooked! I have entered all my family names that are buried in one cemetery and am working on a second one. When we go to cemeteries now for Memorial Day, or just to stop by, I go armed with flowers, lists of anyone who might have requested a photo from there and a list of any photos I still need! I was so pleased to find the grave site of an aunt in Washington state. I hope to be able to help others by adding photos and information. I have also created memorials for some former neighbors who were like family and didn't have many blood-line family members. I consider that my paying forward to them as they did so much for me when I was growing up. I enjoy genealogy and getting the puzzle pieces in place to make a person rather than a name and dates. Finding the final resting places and documenting that seems like a final step in the process. Please feel free to contact me for further information. I don't register as a photo volunteer. However, anytime I know I'm going to be going to a cemetery, I check that cemetery's request list and try to fill as many as I can find.|

Not a problem...My mom died 3 years ago, and I wanted to make hers, too. I never know if ANYONE will make them, and it is important to me, so I made your mom's. There are a few people just added the basic name and no info and that always seems sterile to me. I want everyone linked, so the person is really remembered. I'm sorry you lost your mom.... My mom had cancer so we had time before she went, but it is really strange living without her. Hugs to you. BD

We went to Greenville today and found Aaron's stone. It's a very old white stone with aging to it, but we're sure it's Aaron's. When we were at Bureau Co Genealogical Society we looked him up in the cemetery index and confirmed he is in Lot 8. We were able to read Aaron Marshall, JAN 7 1884, AGED.....rest illegible. Susan's name is on the other side. Yes, he is near Sarah Myers, we also found her stone.
If you're looking for more info for Bureau Co, contact the Genealogical society in Princeton, they're very helpful and have a lot of info.

We are cleaning up Oxford Bend Cemetery . We have found over one hundred graves so far! I found first Margaret R Oxford, I have put her memorial on today. Yesterday we went looking again and found Jacob Oxford less then ten feet from Margaret, in the next row. It was buried face up about half foot down. You can even see the stone craver name in the lower left corner, J Miller. I would guess it has been buried well over fifty years, this is the first photo of his stone. I can't wait to see what else we might find near his stone. Thanks, Alvin Derby

Thanks for let me know about the duplication. I have deleted my memorial and provided the creator of the other one with the information that I had and he didn't. Thanks again.
