|I photograph graves for my own genealogy and share photos of other graves. If I don't transfer a Memorial to you it is due to it being in my own line. I will gladly transfer management of any stone I have posted that IS NOT in my own genealogy. I never thought I would have to ask this but: |
PLEASE DO NOT CLAIM MY PHOTOS AS YOUR OWN. This is findagraves policy: Photos posted to memorials on Find A Grave are copyrighted by the member who submitted the photos. Lifting the photo to use elsewhere would be a violation of copyright. You must obtain written permission from the member to use any photo for your own use. In general if you did not take the photo yourself, you do not hold the copyright to the photo
There is no reason to be rude to someone on here. When I joined findagrave linking was not a part of the website. I struggle with adding / linking without proof of the data I am linking, nor do I want the proof as most of the headstones I have posted are not in my tree. I began posting headstones of graves in an effort to assist others in locating a stone or burial they were either unable to locate or visit on their own and of course preservation of the stone before the information is lost. I never intended to have to manage all of them.

Brenda, I just wanted to Thank You for posting the picture of Jasper Newton Dinsmore. Have you ever hear of or seen any pictures of Jasper's father, Peter O. Dinsmore? I know he died early in the Civil War, and he may NEVER have sat for a portrait, but, I would love to see a copy of any photograph of him if he ever did. Thanks for all you are doing for Find A Grave. Sincerely, Baxter

Thank you. John Ulysses Cecil was my great-grandfather. My great-grandmother had several family pictures she left me when she died. Most of them are of her side of the family. Some are of my grandpa's side. One I have is labeled Pickerell family reunion. John and Sarah are visible. It's my understanding they lived next door to my great-grandparents in the last years of their lives. There is a couple more she labeled "Ma and Pa Cecil" I'm not sure if these are of John and Sarah If you're in the Greenfield or New Palestine area, perhaps we could meet at the library and share photos. Thanks again. Michael

There is a photo of Sarah and her husband you posted to her memorial. I would like to know if it is possible to acquire a copy of it. They are my great-great grandparents. The photo was taken outside of my house. I have other pictures of them, but not this one. Thank you.

I was wondering if there was any way you could add his parents id #'s to his memorial. His father is James Edward Brumfield id # 136466061 and his mother is Lillian Howard "Lillie" Terry Brumfield-Tressell id # 122170474. Thank you in advance for your help.
Not cool X2. LG
