I've been working on adding all burials to the Cobden Cemetery with the help of Record A Grave and the Cobden Village Hall.
Currently there are some duplicate names and I will take care of those as I go through each Block in the cemetery.
By the way, if you are interested in doing your own local cemetery Record A Grave is a Facebook application that allows you to upload photos and then a group of people transcribe them. Once they are transcribed and checked for accuracy they are uploaded to Find A Grave. If you want more information on this please feel free to contact me.
You are free to use any photos that I have taken on other sites. If a Cobden Cemetery photo needs a retake, blurry, clean stone etc. I will be happy to retake photo.

 | collin cemetery Hi Alethea My name is Rob Emery. I'm researching my family linein which ends in Lawence Co., Ill w/ Tarlton Emery and his wife Martha (Young). Both passed in 1860, a few miles away from Collin Cemetery. Martha is a sister inlaw to the England family. Thomas and Nancy (Young) England raised Tarltons son Clay Emery. It is stated on page 7 of your England family history, on the Goggle page w/ England family photos. My question(s) is there a reasonable chance that Tarlton and Marthas head stones are at Collins Cemetery with all the overgrowth. Also, the early England family photos, is there a chance that any of them have Clay Emery (1860-1939) in them ? Thank you Rob Emery robemery67@yahoo.com | | | MHN

 | 45268845 Mary Dubois Hi. I'm interested in this lady. Since you added "Dr." to her memorial and that is not on the grave stone, I'm assuming you have additional information. Will you share? Thank you for the work you're doing! | | | Eileen Gillette
 | RE: Raymond Webster Piercy Happy New Year Alethea
How exciting to find a new relative. I am not related. I lived in El Dorado COunty for many years and have been slowly transcribing the cemetery book. Let me know if there is something I can help you with.

 | Fleeta M Campbell 45536274 Alethea, would you know if Fleeta Campbell was related to John C and Nancy Caroline Norton Burns? In the 1930 census,(Nancy was deceased) J C Burns was a boarder in their home. In the 1910 census there was a F.H.Hill, granddaughter listed age 12 in the household of John D and N C Burns. I don't know if that would be Frieda or Fleeta, thanks so much. Keep up your good work on Find A Grave. BettyAdded by Brnc on Dec 07, 2012 6:13 PM | | | Record Hunter

 | RE: Cobden Cemetery Alethea, Thanks so much for looking for me. Really appreciate your time in researching this. Guess I'll have to take a different approach to see if I can locate her somewhere. Have a good weekend. SharonAdded by AZLITE on Sep 20, 2012 11:16 PM | | | | [View all messages...] |
