|I've been a cemetery buff since childhood, when my mom and I would go out to the old country cemeteries and take care of family plots. I've since been collecting photos of the gravestones of "famous dead people" as I travel for work and play. |
I am happy to help if you have gravestones or cemeteries you are looking for in Alabama. Gives me an excuse to take my motorcycle out for a ride!

Do you you have a list of all the people that are buried out at Macedonia Cemetery? I went out there yesterday and took a lot of pictures of the headstones and I am trying to keep track of who all I have and who all I dont.

I think we are looking for the same Braddy's. If you check my Virtual Cemeteries you will find some that I am looking for. Would love to trade info. with you. Email me when you have some free time. Have a great New Year.

Here is a little info that may help you if you don't have it. The Braddy's of Dyersburg, TN descend from Luton Braddy and Hepzibeth Mason of Jones Co., GA.
The Braddy's of Dyersburg, TN are descendants of Monroe Mason Braddy who married Kizzie Kent or Pusser (two conflicting records regarding Kizzie/Kissie's maiden name).
Monroe Mason Braddy was the son of Seaborn G. Braddy and Elizabeth Mason. (Married in Jones Co., GA)
Seaborn G. Braddy was the son of Luton Braddy and Hepzibeth Mason. (Married in Lincoln Co., GA)

Thank you so much for the three photos - they are great! As part of my family tree, I am adding the tombstones - so much can be learned from them.
It is really appreciated that you took time to take the photos for me. Thanks again!
Think you so much for the photos. I going to try work on the other stones, but again thank you.
