Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Pat. I've Been doing family research since the late 70's and finally getting it into Ancestry.com. I have been married to a wonderful man for almost 41 years. We both still work full-time and looking forward to retiring in one to two years but not looking forward to the cut in income. We have one son, one daughter (deceased) and five grandchildren. Our first priority in life is our Jesus and then family. I have so many hobbies and not enough time for them. Taking cemetery pictures for people is a new one. It's exciting when I take pics of neighboring graves over the requested picture and hear the requestor's excitement in finding that other relative's grave's were there and they were not aware of it.

Happy to transfer management of anyone who is not related to me.

RE: Louis & Mahala Law Grave
Ms. Sager, thank you for contacting me. Finding Poston Cemetery was quite eventful! I drove from Philadelphia to Kentucky on two different occasions. After a failed attempt, armed with a satellite printout and my mom, I was finally successful in finding the cemetery. We ended up stopping and asking a few neighbors and random strangers where it was. Turns out a private cow farm, including cows and cow patties, is between the cemetery and the road. There are no signs anywhere. The family that owns the farm was most gracious opening the cow pasture and guiding us to the cemetery.
Unfortunately, at this point a majority of the headstones are illegible. The Law headstone in particular is extremely mossy.
The trip was a success I got the photo of the headstone I was looking for: my great, great, Grandparents Steve and Emma Vicars Bowles.

RE: James Law grave photo request.
I just happen to be in the cemetery when I got the request and tried to upload it from the picture my guess it's my phone, sometimes it screws up, soon as my wife gets back with my phone I'll send it to my e mail and check it first.

Sometime, I will try to go out and get a better picture...it was such a bright sunny day I didn't realize my reflection would show up. The cemetery is close to my house, so I'll wait for a cloudy day and try again.

RE: Jimmy Pugh Grave
Pat, I can't thank you enough. My uncle's grave site has been a mystery to me & my siblings for a long time. We weren't even able to find the cemetery online. I'm very interested in my Jimmie's wife's family, the cemetery and it's history. So any info you are willing to share will be deeply appreciated. Thanks again - Michelle

Jimmie Pugh
Thanks so much for your kindness in finding and posting the picture of my uncle's grave site. He was my deceased mother's much-loved older brother, who is buried next to his wife's Lovett family in Alabama. I cannot tell you how happy my family is to finally have a complete memorial for Jimmie. Thanks again - we are very grateful.
