Consort and relic refer to a spouse, usually to women. A consort is a husband or wife of a living spouse. A relic is a widow.

Latin abbreviation: H.S.E.
hic situs est (here lies)

Latin abbreviation: H R
Hic Requiescit (here rests)

Latin abbreviation: AEC
Anno Emmanuelis Christi (In Christ Emmanuel)

Latin abbreviation: IHS"
Iesus Hominum Salvator (Jesus, Saviour of men)

"INRI" is an abbreviation for the Latin "Iesus Nazarenus, Rex Iudaeorum" ("Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Jews")

I typically do not put in calculated birth dates from the Aged information on a gravestone. Those dates tend to be incorrect.

latitude and longitude
To add latitude and longitude for a FindAGrave memorial, click on Edit Plot.

If you place the latitude and longitude in the URL of a browser, the browser will take you to that location. For example, copy and paste the following into the URL of a browser (include the comma and the space: 38.7338, -86.48588

If you download Google Earth (it is free software) and put in the search box the latitude and longitude (for example 38.7338, -86.48588), it will take you to the grave area.

I use Google Earth to find the latitude and longitude. I type in the latitude and longitude for the graveyard and then adjust the numbers until the pointer is on the gravestone.
Under Tools, Options, 3D View
- Decimal Degrees
Under Tools, Options, Navigation
- Do not automatically tilt while zooming

If you leave a space before the values, an error message, "values are not the correct format", will be returned.

Be sure to include the dash "-" for the longitude, otherwise the person will be buried in China.

wrong cemetery
Hi, I think Logan Utterback is buried at Carlton Cemetery, not White River Baptist, he has several family members buried at Carlton. White River is my home church, and where I will be buried at and I don't remember any Utterbacks being buried in the older part of the cemetery and I know no Utterbacks are in the new part.
I have read obits before stating the Buddha Cemetery, when Carlton was the intended name, used to be interchangeable names.

James Byers is the father of Ogal Byers and his mother is Bessie Byers. The father of James is Philip Byers. I don't have a lot of information on this family but will try to answer any questions.

Calculated birth dates
Please add the calculated birth dates I may provide, because they are correct. I have found census records to support them. :)

I probably did see that memorial. I probably added the links to their daughter. I have tried to link all I can throughout my family. Thanks!

I found the death certificate. My mom always said my great grandma said there were 13 of them, not sure if 13 kids or 13 with parents. With Jennie it makes 13 with parents. Thank you for the info on my family.
Also thank you for finding my g-g-g grandparents John and Sarah Bell.

What proof do you have that her parents are George and Carrie Zonkle. What I have is a genology put together by Mr Mann. George and Carrie were my G-G grand parents
