I guess I was about 7 or 8 yrs old when I first remember my dad taking me to cemeteries to trace our roots. Now I am an addict to genealogy and cemetery hunting!!! (I think it is from the Mingo Swamp water!!)|
This is a wonderful website it has helped me leaps and bounds in my personal genealogy quest!
I like to transcribe entire cemeteries so loved ones can be found, mine & yours. So most of the memorials I post I am not related to. If you see a relative or someone close to you that I have posted & wish to manage there memorial, please just holler & I can transfer it to you as long as I am not related.
I have posted many photos on this site & anyone may use them for there family tree. If you make a million off one of them, please at least buy me dinner.
If you see a mistake or just have more info just leave me a message or E-Mail me. I will be happy to add the info for any additions or corrections.
A question has been asked several times here lately. "Why do you put 'Bio Info Courtesy of' & link that person to the info?" Well I like to keep track of my sources & who sent me what for whom. Also it gives that person the credit for all the hard work they have done. If you do not want your name attached to a memorial that you have given me info on, please just tell me & I will not attach it.
Please do not get upset if I do not answer your messages & e-mails right away. I get alot of messages & e-mails everyday. I try to answer them all quickly but some take longer than others, but I will get to them!! Currently I am working on messages, requests & transfers from Feb 2013.
Happy Hunting !!

Hi, I was wondering if you knew how the children of William M Carpenter and Nancy Ellen Morris died. I noticed the majority of them died young. I've searched for birth certificates for them but had no luck finding any. Thank you for your time.

The parents listed for this person are not right. This is my grandmother. She is buried in the cemetery at Bernie, Missouri. Whoever put the names of her parents in, did not have the correct information. Please remove it! Thank you!

Thank you very much for the transfer of Richard Bell.

Would you like some old photos of Paul and Bernice? Ken
|Keather Thompson||Alean Simmons Page|
Sorry, Brent, I made a mistake adding parents to Alean Simmons Page. The spouse was correct. The parents weren't.

That one is Billy Joe Williams.
Billy Joe Williams
Birth 19 Mar 1927 in Dexter, Mo
Death 19 Mar 1927 in Smith-Stevenson cemetery
The other baby should be buried very near him.
thank you so much Brent. We have over 55 Williams members in the private group at Face book now and growing. Fun pictures, memories, history coming in. Want to join it for your history of the area?
I still appreciate you. Good thing we are all growing "younger" to do all this. Take care. shirley.
