I've been doing genealogy actively since 1978, but was interested since I was about 8 years old, asking my Grandparents questions about their Grandparents, etc. I compiled the 838 page A JACKSON FAMILY HISTORY:PUTNAM COUNTY, TENNESSEE AND BEYOND. . . . which I published in 1993. Find-A-Grave is a wonderful vehicle to share pictures, and genealogical information to others. I recently retired as a Music Teacher, and spend several hours a day working on Genealogy including Find-A-Grave.|

Hello Michael: I was working in my tree and saw you have a photograph, Wm. Dempsey Voyles, Sr. 15672795, tombstone photo and funeral notice. Awesome to see all the information on his memorial. It appears you are the only one to have this photograph of William. Are you related to the Voyles families? May I use this photograph in my tree. Thanks again! Terri

This is an invalid cemetery. The actual name is Lewis Shawnee Cemetery which is already set up in F A G in the correct Rogers county. Please move the 2 memorials into the correct cemetery and request mergers if they are duplicates.

In case I haven't already responded to your transferring my mothers site to me; Ido appreciate your doing so. I should probably confess that Im sometimes slow and not particularly well organized . So many people; so little time!

Michael, I can't remove the photo you uploaded to her memorial. You can since you uploaded it. Just click on it and delete it.

I have times and dates and names but none are quite matching but does look like there could be a connection. NOW ALOT OF TIMES MY JACKSONS CHANGED THEIR NAMES AND I FIGURE COULD BE ONE REASON. FLORENCE MARRID JAMES EMMETT WRIGHT AND VICTOR MILLS CALDWELL. And Victor Married Edith MAE Davis and had one son named Clint Caldwell and he is a half sibling to a daughter of Edith Mae Davis and ALBERT Washington THETFORD which is Alberta Louise Thetford. She married Glen Price Blakeley and gave birth to my Husband Albert Ray Blakeley. I am Carolyn Sue Harris/Blakeley and My Mom is Grace Carol Brown AND Her Mom is Mary Elizabeth Meeks and Mary's Mom is Eliza Ellen Collier/Meeks and Eliza's Mom is SARAH ELIZABETH JACKSON WHO MARRIED A WILLIAM THOMAS "TOM" COLLIER and SARAH'S FATHER IS JAMES ANDREW JACKSON and MOTHER IS SUSAN ELLEN BIBLES/JACKSON.

Delighted to see you posted my photo of Delia to her grave location on Find a Grave. Likewise glad to see that her name is listed on a stone. Couldn't find one for her back around 1990 when I visited the graveyard.
May have mentioned this in our earlier correspondence but I believe Delia was filmed years back by RTE making griddle cakes on the open hearth. Would be interesting to be able to view if it still exists.
Hope your research goes well.
