I want to say a big thank you to fellow contributors that send in family links, b/d info, photos and any other information. The more information that we provide will greatly assist family members.|
I live in Waco (McLennan County) Texas and I serve as Historian of the Gerald Cemetery. I maintain the records for the cemetery in conjunction with the President.
I do not research my family genealogy, but am using this opportunity to help others by contributing to FAG.
NOTE: West Station was the name used years ago for West TX located in McLennan County.
Mottos: Living is Giving!
Favorite Headstone: GOD LOVED HER MORE!
Saying: Never leave home without a camera.
I receive permission to use published obits. I also enjoy photographing cemeteries, and researching obits in the newspaper.

Hi Slick, you have a photo request for Toy Tompkins at Dallas-Ft Worth National Cemetery. I was there 3-4 weeks ago and had her on my list. It was very hot and humid that day and didn't get to her request. I should be out there next week and will take it then.

Okay, I'll keep an eye out. Had seen that and didn't have a clue what it meant. It's a really good feeling to find those answers! Thanks, N.

Thanks --I appreciate you doing them. I'm sure you know how it goes --you start researching one thing and just get deeper and deeper and lo and behold find some of your own family or at least some kind of connection. And we find out we're pretty much all cousins. ;-) Is so very interesting, intriguing and addicting. Happy Trails, Nancy

Ok, educate me.
I guess I missed the punch line at our meeting Friday.
The stonecutter used the word "aborted" so I don't know where my entry went wrong eventhough the master list sez "unborn child".

Hello. Thank you so much for letting me know about the Casey, Helm, and McLennan memorials in Gerald Cemetary. I found entries in Find a Grave for Casey and Helm in Gerald Cemetary, but not McLennan. I appreciate this information. Thanks again!

He is my 4th cousin. May I use his gravestone photo in my Family Tree? I will gladly give you credit. Thank you! Terry
