RE: Bowman
My Line from Christopher and Susannah is through

Rev Christian Bowman and Rebecca Stackhouse
Hannah Bowman and James McConnel
Permella McConnel and Henry Adam Heldenbrand
James Adam Heldenbrand and Mary Elizabeth Currier
Zuella Rose Heldebrand and Frank George Howland
James Porter Howland and Mary Helen Cook

and then through my grandmother and mother to me.

Writing them all out together actually just helped me find all of their graves, and I just sent requests to link them. And in so doing I noticed that you actually have put on the graves of several of my grandparents. Thank you for your work with findagrave so that I can see their graves, even though I am unable to go and visit them myself.

RE: Susan Banks Bowman
Christopher and Susan Bowman are my 7th Great Grandparents, whom I have only recently discovered while working on my family genealogy. Thank you for putting all of the evidence about her burial onto her page. I agree with you that there is not enough evidence at this point to prove her burial there. Whether her gravestone was still around or not in 1886 when the Bowman genealogy book was written, it is in doubt that the author of the book was an eyewitness to the location of her grave, and it is also in doubt that he was getting his information from an eyewitness, since he did not record the exact date of her death. Since his information might have been second hand family tradition, she might have been buried anywhere in the area and the location of her grave lost to family knowledge at that time in 1886. So since there is no record of her burial in the old cemetery map, I agree that it is best to leave the location of her burial as uncertain or unknown for now. But thank you for putting a record of her death on findagrave, because it helped some of her family like me to find her.

Mary Rudy Wilson
Is there any sign of Mary Rudy Wilson (1794-1868) in the Rudy Cemetery in Huntingdon Co, PA? I see her husband Robert Wilson (Memorial# 25966216), son Pvt William Wilson (Memorial# 25966440), and father George Rudy (Memorial# 57253912), but not Mary. Have all the gravesites been identified? Anyone buried beside Robert?

Mary Rudy & Robert Wilson are my 3GGP.

Thank you,
Holly Haines

Sheller Memorials
Thank you for updating Mary Sheller's memorial. Mary & William are my 4th great grandparents. It was a thrill to visit their graves on Friday. I live in Illinois and we were visiting in Pittsburgh.

Amelia Lightner Wright

Her birth mother was definitely Anna Keller. Anna Keller's mother was an Anspach. The informant on her death certificate was obviously not clear as to who her mother was (her mother died in 1888 when Amelia was just 9). If you check her siblings obits and/or death registrations, they all give their mother as Anna Keller (I don't know where the Catharine came from, other than on the new headstone as she went by Ann or Anna in the 2 censuses when married).

RE: Petrulo
I do know a bit about it. I went there back in the 90's and met some of the relatives. And yes, I am a DiLauro descendant. My grandfather Pietro DiLauro changed his name to Peter Lauro when he went into the Army. He and his brothers and sister migrated to the US, leaving Mom & Dad at home. The youngest brother was sent back because he was legally blind. I would love to see your tree. When I was there, they pretty much said that all the DiLauros were related. There weren't any left, that was coming from the Izzo side of the family that I met. If you send me your email address, I can invite you to see the tree on ancestry.
