I forgot that my memorial did not have a cemetery. I added her mother and father. The siblings should show up when you approve the mother and father. I think this will combine the two. I will delete mine after I look at what gets added. Thanks for your help.

RE: Hattie McDowell
Jeff, sorry it took so long for me to find this message. Hattie was raised mostly by an uncle in Clay Co. GA. She married Y. T. Knight and had several children. He died in 1906. They lived very near my Grandfather John H. McCormick. His wife died in child birth in 1909 and in 1911 he and Hattie were married. Hattie was born in 1870. She died in 1949, he in 1923. Her father was John McDowell, mother Susan Mann. I have found a little on Susan but very little on who John was or his family. My father was 12 yrs. at the time his father and Hattie married and he loved her like a real mother. I hope this will give you a little info on Hattie even though I don't know much about her McDowell family.
Thanks,
John McCormick

James Smith Hancock
I have linked him to his parents. Would you like me to transfer him to you?

James Shahan
Thank you for the info about James Shahan's stepson, J.W. Beal. I've added it to the memorial. I noticed Elizabeth Beal Shahan (J.W. Beal's mother?) is quite a bit younger than James Shahan so I'm assuming she was his second wife? Do you know if James Shahan had a previous wife and what her name was? Also, would you happen to know the name of James Shahan's father and mother? The only info death certificate gives about James's parents is their birthplaces, (Ireland and Canada, of which I noticed were written in by hand after the certificate was already originally typed up as "unknown", interesting!) Thanks for all your help!

McGlamory Transfers
I have transferred the McGlamory memorials in Blakely Cemetery to you since you are related. I entered these from the 1959 Blakely Cemetery index. I added your suggested corrections. Kim
