Lieutenant Colonel Julius Heileman was indeed born in Massachusetts, altough I do not know when. I do know that he died at Fort Drane, Florida on 27/06/1836, but have no idea of his final resting place.

Could this man possibly be the son of Bvt. Lieutenant Colonel Julius Frederick Heileman? Colonel Heileman was serving at Fort Moultrie, South Carolina at the time of his birth.

thank you for the note you left on my Daddy's site. I don't recognize the last name of Hodges. I am Harry's only child, Pat. My mother died in 2010 at the age of 91...she had planned to live until 100!!

Orval...Hello, I just found your memorial for my 9X Great Grandfather, and Grandmother, Edmund Hodges, and Nephany Walker. I was so delighted!! I just loved that you added the log cabin picture. It makes it seem so real, if you know what I mean. My branch of the tree is from their oldest son, John Hamilton Hodges, (who died in Montgomery Co Ky in 1810, burial unknown) and his daughter, Lucy Hodges, and on down from there. If you have any more information to share, that may help me on my family roots, I would certainly appreciate hearing from you. Hope you have a happy 4th of July! With best regards, Leslie Riffle
Thank you so much for the tributes you have made on my family sites.
