Bio Photo I'm a General Contractor, living in Southworth, Washington.

I've been a Genealogy addict for about 30 years. It always seem there is never enough done to remember those who past before us. In so many cases there is so very little information left about us after we die, who we were, good or bad!, what kind of lives did we live, successful or not?

It just amazes me that we live in the information age, but yet there at times there seems so little information on us after we have died. Always seems important to give names of people identities and in some cases personalities.

RE: Johns family
Yes, I do. I've been going through old family stuff and scanning/uploading things as I have time. You can see some of them at:

Random other stuff:

The house Emanuel built in Burton, KS (there's a photo of it in the linked gallery) was gutted by fire and sat empty for years, but it's got new owners now who are renovating it. :)

I've also got scans of a partial autobiography written by Helen (Emanuel's daughter, my great-grandmother) that talks about the part of her childhood spent in that house and is interesting to read. Email me at if you would like a copy of that.

There was a dedication ceremony last weekend that I unfortunately didn't get to attend, at Victor Falls in Washington state, which Emanuel named for his son Victor who died at age 10.

I suppose I should have mentioned that Emanuel was Lemuel's brother. :)

Johns family
Hi Eric, I'm a descendent of the Johns family (Emanuel Johns was my great-great grandfather) and have been getting acquainted with them a bit as I've been going through some of my grandmother's old papers and letters. Just wanted to say thanks for the photos you've uploaded of some of the family, as I very much enjoy looking at them. :) -Ruth

Thanks, Denise Cole

Johns Memorials
Are you related to Robert Johns and Mary Augusta Johns?

I am looking for where her parents are buried,
they died in Christian County, ILlinois but may have been buried in another county.
