Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been interested in genealogy for a while now, but have only been actively persuing it for the last 10 years or so. My ultimate goal, besides tracing my elusive LUSIGNAN line is to go to the Isle of Wight in England and track down my ADAMS and BALLARD lines. Other lines of interest include EVANS, MARTIN, TOWLES, CALLUM, SCANLAN, CUMMINGS and countless others.

Recently I have been blessed to have come into contact with a wonderful soul - that of Jim, aka New York Historian. He has provided me with so much help that I consider him a true godsend. He was grieving the loss of his own brother as I was grieving the loss of a dearly beloved friend, Kathy.

I have met some truly wonderful people here on FAG and I cannot thank them enough for the help they have offered and the photos they have provided. They prove that there is more good in this world than bad.

I have been adding local obits from my area (Baltimore/Washington region) in order to memorialize those who have passed away. Email me if you wish to add any information, make corrections or if you would prefer that their memorial be taken down.

Happy Hunting!

Hey Kelly,

I checked with the office at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville, Md for the location of Sammy Robinette's stone, I gave them the name and dates, they gave me Lakeview 11-5. When I searched that location, I found a stone for Samuel James(1909-1989) and Edna Mae(1911-2005) Robinette, which doesn't match Sammy Robinette's information. I looked around the area of the stone, but didn't see any other Robinettes there. I may have overlooked it, or he's in another area of the cemetery. I'll check again next time I go up there. I did get a photo of the above mentioned stone tho in case you need it in the future.

Peace, Lani

well with the dates you just mentioned, I must have known his father.......I was at SevernaPark from '72ish to '75. What was your name back then? When you were at the high school...maybe I knew your family.
