Ida Mae (Michael) Prater...Whetsel
Ida's mother was Mary Lucinda Miller. John Andrew and Mary Lucinda were married 18 November 1883, two years after the death of his first wife, Mariah Shortridge. Mariah died 7 March 1881. She is buried in the Yeoman Cementary in Carroll County, Indiana, not Beech Grove. If Mariah is her mother, Ida would have to be at least 7 years older than the date on her marker. John Andrew and Mariah were married 10 August 1878 in Carroll County, Indiana. To my knowledge they only had one child, Veronica, nickname "Verna". If you have any more records on Mariah I would appreciate it if you would share them with me. - Cheryle

James Shaw #36900169
Hello! I noticed on the memorial that you had referenced cemetery records in regards to his name. I was wondering if there were any other notations in the cemetery records. I'm looking for a James H. Shaw, husband of Elizabeth A. Laws Shaw. They lived in Anderson township, Marion County, IN in the 1880 census. Elizabeth is widowed on the 1900 census.

I appreciate any direction you can give me in regards to the cemetery records.

Thank you.

I'm sorry Rick but I had taken the photo of this memorial in 2012...I still added it as it's rare that we get requests fulfilled at AMP anymore :( They make it unpleasant most of the time when I go in to ask for info and they realize it's for Find A Grave. I will remove my photo if someone (or myself) gets a current one with the death date but until then I'll leave it unless you let me know you would rather I didnt':) I'm adding a new photo request just in case someone might get a current photo. I have about ten more cds with photo from 2011-2013 at AMP to add pics but haven't gotten to them until now unfortunately.

Thompson Memorial
Thank you, Rick, as always, very appreciated ;) All family connected on this one ~ Sarah/Susan... if you have a closer, clearer photo of (sadly, only) her marker, would be greatly appreciated!

Almina France Pic Request
This photo request is no longer visible but I plan to look for the stone. I was at Wesley Chapel today and filled one request. But will need more time to go thru the cem and hopefully not so hot out. I "cem hop" so I get breaks in between. I've been to this cem in past and had written down the names - at least maj of. May have missed some, saving for another day. Espec since I don't have France as a surname on my list of names row by row. I also have a list of names that don't have pics on mem pgs. So this will be my "next project" - to work at this cem to find Almira French and others that need pics. I need to remind myself as I look that she's an infant so there may be a very sm stone. dg

Rick, yes, we've been in touch before. Would you like a transfer on those? I'm no relation at all. Let me know.

William Osborn (e)
Thank You very much for the detail you put in about William Osborn. He is my great, great, great Grandfather also. My Mother's Father was Arthur Alonzo Cox, and His mother was America (Americus) Osborn. Her Mother was Susanne Feagley.

I am new at Geneology and I was wondering IF it is hard to find out ALL the graves that were moved from the Feagley Cemetary in Warrick Co.?

After America divorced William Slaylee Cox (sometimes william S. she married Gossar (probably your grandfather) My mother remembered playing with the Gossar boys.

Sorry the detail is just off the top of my head right now as I am staying with my mother and many of the things I have researched are on my computer. (so I am just going from Memory.)

since our trees are aligned as cousins perhaps you have more information about william S. Cox. He is very difficult to find out about. I wished I had some help on finding his father.

Thank You for everything! Pamela Hawn
