Don't cha hate it when a graver tells you what they will or will not do with their records? Or that you have to pass some 'relationship' test for a transfer? Oh, and I especially hate it when their profile message is "in your face" and unbending, as if the FAG Guidelines were inscribed on a tablet brought down from the mountain top....Not me............

I will be happy to transfer Ownership rights of any entry I've made- I don't care what your relationship or reason. I'm not related to any of my entries except a very few. My effort is documentation and finding the lost among the stones.

It might be helpful to others to cite the source of requested updates; But even that omission won't stop the update.
How to Request a TRANSFER
*Note: You must be logged in for this procedure to work:

1. Click on the "EDIT TAB" top right of the entry

3. Type the word "TRANSFER"

4. Send.

That gives me ALL the information I need to make the transfer.

"I See Dead People."

I haunt cemeteries for tombstone photos and follow up with obituaries if available at the Chester County Historical Society. Or Vice-Versa, I get the obit then find tombstone.
Let me know where I can help in Chester County, Pennsylvania

Green Mount- Eleanor Durborrow Groff

I called twice and apparently this cemetery has limited hours to do lookups. Just got a recording so I left a message.

I edited Clifford Groff already. I guess I gave you the wrong memorial number.

Howard Durborrow & son
Wow, I see the work you did Dan!

I was about to add Howard Jr.'s memorial and saw that you had already completed it. I can't find his sister Dorothy D. Temple. Eleanor L. Groff has a memorial with 'unknown' burial at #102913564. I would guess it was a cremation. I never add them unless I am sure what to put.

Her son Clifford's memorial (463633580) was created by you, as was her husband John Pearson Groff (69280114). I wasn't sure I wanted to link them to an unknown burial. I will call the same cemetery tomorrow and see if Eleanor was interred there.

That was a very fine obit Howard Sr had. Glad you found it. These are my great aunt's relatives. I guess Howard Sr.'s wife Lillian Durborrow was her cousin. I don't know why I keep going off on these tangents. But thanks!

Dan, thank you for giving of your time and yourself helping others through Find A Grave. It certainly means a lot to me and others like me who are no longer able to visit cemeteries because of age and health. I started with my genealogy journey back in the 80's and I am still working trying to get as much of family and connections as I can on Ancestry and Family Tree Maker so that my descendants and others who are connected can know their heritage. I hope you won't mind my making copies of your photos for my family files. I thank you for taking them. May God bless you in your work with Find A Grave, helping others so very much.

John Perrott
Thank you for the pic of John Perrott's death certificate. I was wondering are you able to read what cemetery it says he's buried at? I can't quite make it out.

thank you for obit and TF of his memorial. Yes, I would be interested in any Iezzi markers you see. Enter away! I just recently started with research in PA area, so I am appreciative of any help. LOL

RE: Houck
Hi Dan Oh,
I am in the process of working with St. Peter's Lutheran Church to add all the burials in their cemetery on Pikeland Hill to findagrave.
Some of the info I am adding is from their burial records. I am doing some additional research for the memorial as I have time. I will consider adding a copy of the death certificate - a good idea!
Not interested in having memorials transferred to me. I would be happy to transfer the memorials I am creating to any relative who is interested in adding info &/or managing the memorial. Anyone you want?
I am about one third thru the "new" Lutheran cemetery. Will be working on St. Peter's UCC Cemetery when I complete the Lutheran Cemetery.
That should keep me out of trouble for the summer!
