My goal in being a contributor is sincere and quite simple... To offer another the same comfort I have received in viewing postings of my own family members, as well as, to reward future generations with historical preservation and recordkeeping. If at any time you have question, concern or find an inaccuracy in a memorial, please holler.|

|Ron Spurr||Blackburn Unknown Posting|
I'm trying to post photographs to existing memorials and add memorials to this Blackburn Cemetery. Could you give me some idea what I should be looking for regarding what this looks like. There is nothing in the cemetery index and I am at a loss to find and photograph this since there is no information on it.
Thank you for any help.

|Kevin Finch||Ronald and Florence Breiter|
My contact at the cemetery, informs me that although a Ronald Breiter Jr. did business with them (could not tell me what business, do to privacy issues), they have no record of either of them being buried there.
She related that some people use the mortuary services/ cremation services, but are buried somewhere else, or ashes are taken by family members.
|Virginia Young||Alice Nellie (Demaray) Hudson|
I would appreciate it very much if you would transfer my grandmother's Find-a-Grave site to me:
Alice Nellie (Demaray) Hudson.
The cemetery is Waterloo Memorial in Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Grandma is Memorial # 82779939.
I am contributor #47093768.
In case you wonder how I could be her granddaughter, please know that I am the daughter of Alice's youngest child in the Hudson family of nine.... My father is Francis Byron Hudson, named for his father Francis Post Hudson.
Thank you very much for your great service to a vast number of the living who appreciate your work for the deceased.
Blessings, Virginia Hudson Young, born in 1936.

If you can call Calvary Cemetery 323-261-3106 and get a grave location, I will be happy to take a photo next weekend.

|Amelia Stone||Sarah "Sally" Sharp Shaw|
In researching my Ogle family, I've come across the memorial for Sarah "Sally" Sharp Shaw #19591532. I believe that the Sharp last name is in error.
My ancestor is Polly Ann Sharp, daughter of Levi Sharp b. approx 1779 in NC. I haven't traced his full line, but I have found his will in which he lists his heirs as follows: "After the payment of such funeral expenses and debts I give, devise, and bequeath unto my beloved children and step-children to wit Enos Sharp, Marinda Elam, Margaret Sweet, Polly Ann Ogle, Barbara Ogden, Edwin Morgan, Levi F. Morgan, and Martha Ann Chambers, the sum of five dollars each respectfully and also five dollars to the lawful heirs of Sarah Shaw, deceased." (Illinois, Wills and Probate Records, 1772-1999) The will was probated on May 18, 1854 in Clark County, IL, and the witness to the will is dated March 19, 1860 - WR Griffith and my ancestor Peter Ogle witnessed. Sarah Shaw died in 1852.
I looked for a marriage record for a Sarah or Sally Sharp to a Shaw, but came up with nothing. Working on the "stepchildren" hunch, I searched for Sarah Morgan and turned up an 1839 marriage in Clark County, Illinois to a William Shaw. (Illinois, County Marriages, 1810-1934). I am in the firm belief that your Sarah Shaw's maiden name would be Morgan rather than Sharp.
If you already know this or have information that countermands these beliefs, please either disregard or let me know. I tried to email, but it bounced. Thank you for your time!
Amelia C. (Ogle) Stone
