"What Makes You Think We Are Related?"

I enjoy working on my family genealogy and discovered Find a Grave to now help others. 90%+ of all my entries are entered from photos I have taken. I also cross reference some with Cemetery or Genealogy records, adding information for families to discover.

I have no problem maintaining memorials. If you are related within the FAG guidelines and want the memorial transfered, send me an edit. This is found by clicking on the EDIT tab at the top right of the memorial.
If I have made any errors or you have information you want me to add, Biographical sketches are welcomed, please also send me an edit so that I can correct/add them. Feel free to add an IMPROVED photo. I have learned that no matter what the light is like you can never get all great pictures. Please ask to use photos on another site or personal use.

My travels so far have included WA, OR, VT, NV, ID, MT, FL, LA, MS, British Columbia and who knows where next!!
I photograph when I see the need. I am currently working on (with a team), photographing the HUGE Fairmount Cemetery in Spokane Washington, 8-2015. Let me know is you are interested in helping. We are over 1/3 done! There are some that are photographing the sections in Riverside Cemetery in Spokane. If you can do one let me know and I will keep track of what is done. So Far Wisteria, Mars and Bluebell sections are done and part of Tulip, Hyacinth and Lily and Saturnia. Thanks sue Tanner. I am in Coeur d'Alene Idaho.
Thank you all for this site and all of you that are doing great works here.

RE: # 127556546 Edgar C Bigelow
Yeah, it was entered in from the cemetery records because I had to know what questions to ask. It was on the BACK of the record that the info regarding a Re-Internment Permit was even issued. Had I not asked what I asked the employee would never have looked on the back of the record. The record also stated that the body was cremated.....but could not say when that occurred.

Regarding what to do with the duplicate memorial~I messaged via "additional edit suggestions" & will wait to see if anyone is even managing all of Margaret's memorials. Margaret has almost 8,000 memorials & I don't know that anyone is managing them. Should Find A Grave be notified?

Hey Reconnet I just got off the phone with Pines cemetery. i talker to a young lady named Billie & she stated a Reinternment Permit was taken out on 6 Feb 1961. So, your memorial is the right one. Edgar was originally interned at Pines Cemetery but then moved to Fairmount Memorial Park cemetery in 1961.

Hey, ReconnectNow are you sure Edgar is buried in this cemetery? The reason i ask is because there is a second memorial made in 2011 (# 81939658) for Edgar only its in the Pines Cemetery in Spokane. I want to do some edits but not sure which is the correct cemetery.

Sadly, the individual who manages the other memorial has passed away & it doesn't look like any of her memorials have been picked up by someone else.

Memorial 55421480. Hi, I just set some details about DOB and DOD for Harry. Since the year of birth does not match that on his tombstone, I thought you'd like to know that this is the date of birth given by him on WWI Draft and also as shown of state death index. His middle names were Irving Gardner. Thanks.

RE: Creston Plots forest Lawn Cemetery
You're very welcome! Be prepared for lots more - I started with the easy columbaria, but I'm working from my photos of the registry taken yesterday in the rain. If the page is blurred or the shiny plastic reflection is in the wrong place, I'm comparing to the map.

This will be a project, I'm afraid. 95% of the plots still to go.

RE: Welcome
Thank you. I will try and do some as I can, but I am way over committed as it is. I will ask my husband if he would be interested in helping. I've got a couple that I have to get back to Holy Cross to take. I need to go when they are open so I can get a lay of the cemetery, so I'm not walking the whole section. I'm sure there is an easier way.

Julie
