Jacob Burris' Father Miles
Jacob Burris brother Daniel is my 2nd GreatGrandfather. Can you give me a source for Miles Burris being the father of Jacob and Daniel? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

James Harvey Robinson
I have corrected my Grandfathers memorial , I must have been in a hurry that day and listed Grandmother Frankie as both his wife and Mother, Find a grave made him his own brother based on that, I presume now that I connected him to his Mother Grandma Celia Cromwell Robinson, that will correct as well. Thank You for pointing out error !!Now PLEASE take Grandpa's pictures off of the Harvey Robinson # 120688058, that was married to Martha Jane Beckham, that is NOT James Harvey Robinson !!! The photo's you used are in fact my Grandpa and the originals of those photo's are my own , so I know that they are him and NOT that other Harvey Robinson.Kathy Howe Barber

DUH! I am so sorry! It's for William Tilford who was married to Isabella Weir & Rebecca McClung. He is buried in Slippery Point Cemetery. Again my apologies!

Hi! Please look at this again. On the older headstone it looks like the BIRTH date is October 14, 1830. There may be another date of 1886(?) but I can't see it in the picture. I think the newer stone goes with this one but I'm not sure about the older stones. Thanks!

RE: Susanna Irelan
Please replace the 2nd paragraph with the following:

Thomas Irelan was born in 1788 in a portion of southwestern PA once claimed by Virginia and he died in Carroll County, IN. From 1811 to abt. 1813, Thomas was a resident of Mercer Co., PA where he and Mary C. Gettys (born abt 1791), married 30 Apr 1812. Documentation for residence can be found in the Rocky Springs Seceder Presbyterian Church Session Minutes in Sandy Lake, Mercer Co., PA. Documentation for their marriage can be found in a Carroll Co., IN land grant application, made by Mary Irelan, after the death of her husband. Thomas qualified for the land grant because of his military service during the War of 1812, but as he had died at the time of this particular land grant request, Mary had to provide testimony from others as to when and where she and Thomas had married.

South Canaan Cemetery
This probably isn't a surprise, but there are no legible markers for any of your photo requests in South Canaan Cemetery. I wonder if we can close these out. I'm always willing to dig around a bit for information, but I don't think are going to be any useful pictures. Tim
