Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a direct descendant of the Copp, Brown, Peck, Ward, McIntyre, and Shaw families on my father's side. Roloff, Crescelius, Garbrecht, Pfersich, Zastrow, and Ziemer families from Prussia on my mother's side. I am making a special effort to photograph stones at Terre Haute Cemetery in Henderson County, IL. Many of the stones are faded and breaking off. I want to preserve them digitally before it's too late. My Peck & Shaw ancestors rest at this cemetery, so it is very important to me.

As with everyone else, if you find a relative's memorial that I have created, you can have it to manage. Just drop me a note via Find-a-Grave. I am creating memorials because I can get to these cemeteries to take the pictures. I appreciate the memorials people have made for my family members who are buried far away. Thank you, all!

RE: Wow - it has been a while
Yes, take care of yourself!
And wow! That's a lot of pictures to upload! Great job!
Sometimes I wish Find A Grave would send an email when a picture is uploaded to a memorial, I would love to see every one of them and make any adjustments or corrections as needed.
Keep in touch!

RE: Thank you.
Roy Lang was in Sterling College when the war started. He enlisted as a Marine, was at Guadalcanal, and then later, Korea. He worked for the LA Police Dept for 30 years and then retired to AZ. His father tried to give him the farm to keep him from going into the service, but Roy decided that he was not going to be a farmer. His life was very hard on the farm. Of course it was not easy in the Marines or the LAPD either.

Thank you.
Thank you for sending the picture of Nellie Fisher's headstone. Nellie's sister was Harriett. Harriet's son (Carl), had a son (Roy Lang) who is still alive at 94!

Emma Akers was my father's grandmother. I would like to make a note on the find a grave site because I have confirmed that her year of death on her marker is incorrect. Marker reads 1915 and she actually died in 1922. I have this information in my grandmother's handwriting and also was informed by my father's cousin who recalls her father telling her that his mother died when he was 9 years old. He was born in 1913.

Elizabeth TenEyck Ryder
I have received information that the surname of Elizabeth Ryder, wife of Jacob Ryder of Henderson County, Illinois is DeNYSE vs. TenEyck. I would appreciate your correcting this information on her memorial on Find-A-Grave if possible. Thank you. William Kimball, 3rd great-grandson of Elizabeth DeNyse Ryder
