I live in Oregon with my wife Loretta to whom I have been married to since 1978. My interest in genealogy started about 6 years ago and I am tracing my family tree. My great grandmother, Delia McNeal was a pioneer and a genealogist. It is important to honor those in your family from the past so they will not be forgotten. |

Thank you for your message Bill.
As I was telling someone else tonight, it is entirely possible that she is there, but without a grave marker. I saw some field rocks out there today, but they were just rocks, with no initials or anything else on them. I also noticed some suspicious empty areas that were sunken in the ground. Someone is buried in those places, but who? There are damaged monuments and broken ones too. Some of those old white marble markers have already decayed so much that you cannot see any inscriptions on them at all now. The white marble looks great when it is new, but after 50-100 years, they look like they have been sanded down or washed with acid. She may still be there, but without a very good cemetery map, we will never know the location of her grave.
It is possible, that she is buried elsewhere. I have seen this happen a few times before. I know of a woman that had her daughter's name carved on her tombstone in Barnardsville, but her daughter is actually buried in Weaverville. I'm sorry that I could not do better for you.
Thank you! I will : ) Have a nice weekend!

Hi Bill -- Sorry I didn't get your note fast enough to keep you from having to add everything first! Yes -- I would really appreciate a transfer of these two family members! My number is 47061806. I really appreciate that and I appreciate you putting them up to begin with!

You are very welcome. I have also added a photo to Howard and May Miltonberger's memorials. If you think my photo is a duplicate of the photo already there, let me know and I will gladly delete it. Bill

Please do what you can.
Although Woodbine is fairly close to me I have been finishing a complete inventory of all headstones in another local cemetery. I still have several hundred to do but if you request the photo it will go to all the volunteers nearby. If I can I will do them.

I'm not sure about the other two browns you added under my care, but if they are all from the same cemetery they have to have some connection. I will see what I can find. Thank you again!

|Dane'||RE: Lyman Brown|
Thanks again for adding the info. I haven't came across the name McMillan yet on our family tree. If I come across anything I will let you know.

Thank you Bill. Lyman was my father in law of my great aunt June Alene (Jusie) Kerns. I was working on my family tree and added him and his family. I will see what else I can contribute on his page. Thanks for adding him on find a grave. It really helps other's with their genealogy search!
