Hi all, |
Family history and genealogy are two of my passions. I'm hoping to connect with the descendents of my ancestors and relatives.
Any photo that I've posted at Find-A-Grave may be used for any non-commercial purpose (family trees, personal use, etc.). Please don't forget to give photographic credit where it's due though if you re-post my photos elsewhere on the internet.
I'm disabled and don't travel easily, so any help will be greatly appreciated!
MANY THANKS IN ADVANCE!

|Sabrina D||John & Margaret Dawson at Holy Cross Cemetery|
I took a photo of the Dawson plot at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma, CA.
In the plot John and Margaret Dawson, along with their children Nora Dawson and Sarah Kehoe, and their grandchild Ethel Cronin are buried there. Nora and Ethel are not listed on the stone. So their memorial pages have the family plot for the photo, but no close up of the stone.

Thank you, for sweet appreciation.

I'm going to transfer any of those I had to create to you, unless you don't want them. There were a group of Huffakers, also.

So glad we could help.
It's a nice older Cemetery. Well taken care of The Big stone is the family plot I think, surrounded by the family member's.If you view the cemetery entry photo the plot is on right side of road about 3 stones from begining.
Glad I could be of service, Richard

May I ask what your source is for her maiden name being Simpson? It's not listed in the California Death Index and I'm not finding anything else to confirm the information.
Are the MacCracken's your family? I was hoping the family would have the cemetery cut back the bush in the middle of the lot so the markers can be seen. Come summer and the greenery the markers will be completely hidden.

|Kay||RE: Abraham Doolittle|
Thank you. Please tell me if I'm on the right track here:
1. Judith Baker and Elizabeth Baker were sisters?
2. Elizabeth Baker married Edward Doolittle (1588-1619)?
3. Elizabeth and Edward's son Abraham Doolittle married Joan Allen in 1645 and then Abigail Moss in 1663?
KAY 11 FEB 2015: Could her [Judith Baker 1598–1674] sister Elizabeth Baker be the wife of Abraham Doolittle of Wallingford (1588-1619)?
KATI 12 FEB 2015: In my family tree, I have Elizabeth Baker 1587–1635 m. to Edward Doolittle 1588–1634. They have a son Abraham Doolittle 1620–1690 who had two wives Joan and Abigail. Abraham, born in England, lived and died in Wallingford, CT. His parents didn't leave England. Sorry, there's no match. Best wishes, Kati

Thanks very much for the transfer! Yes, I'm a Sigmund descendant, direct from Christoph's brother Gottlieb. Thanks again.

Hi Kati, I am interested in talking to you about Samuel and Lucinda Dodson. I figured out who Lucinda was. She was married twice. She was born Lucinda Gorrell, daughter of James Gorrell and Margaret Patterson. She was married once before to Charles Brown. Her age is not right as she was born in 1861 and not in 1871. She is my 3rd great aunt and I would really like to talk to you about this family if you are interested. You can email me directly about this if you like. My email is email@example.com.
